gobuckeyes 0 Posted August 21, 2006 This is my first time being in a FF league (12 team) and ready through this site the conventional wisdom seems to be draft RBs in the first round, however outside of the top 6-8 RBs, I don't really see anyone who I would really consider a stud or low risk pick (lamont jordan? i saw the raiders game against the vikings and their line looked terrible and with their qb situation they will probably be falling behind early). Plus the dropoff in projected FF points seems tremendous after the top 5. So my question is: If I get stuck witha a late pick in the first round, should I take a shot at a running back who I suspect wont produce as much as I would like from a first round pick just because of the availibility of running backs or should I pick a Manning/Holt/Chad Johnson type player who I pretty much know will be a producer? Vilma=GOD 0 Posted August 21, 2006 Pick one of the top 11 RBs, then in the 2nd round, if one of them are available pick them, if not, then a stud reciever.
