I don't think hue was responsible for when he was picked. My understanding is that the GM consulted with a number of people he trusted, who all said Mayfield was the best QB in this class, and that is why they drafted him. Not Hue's decision.

Ahh ok. Well Mayfield was probably already one of the most confident players in the NFL before the season started. He is going to always rub some people the wrong way. A lot of the greats have a chip on their shoulder. Jordan, Rodgers, Brady all have things they held on to as motivation. Maybe Baker is just trying to do that.
