They didn't understand the idea of a progressive tax rate. Either that, or they deliberately wanted to spread lies. "AOC wants to tax 70% of all your money!" No, no she doesn't. She wants to take a shot and your taxable dollars over 10 million. And, given the types of exemptions that exist for the uber wealthy like that, only a very small percentage of people would actually be impacted by that. Basically, those too stupid to do any sort of structured tax planning. But at least she knew the history of such rates. That they existed before the 80s. And went as high as 90% back in the day. I'm not saying I agree or disagree, but here's one issue and it seems that foxtards were the ones who got it all wrong. I'll give her that one as a win.
