Personally, I think it's a better deal for the owner getting D. Thomas, but a completely fair deal. He's exactly what they needed in Houston. When he's motivated, he can still be a legit WR2. I think he will stay motivated for the remainder of the year just to piss off John Elway.

 

As an owner, I once vetoed a trade. This was Matt Forte's rookie season. Forte had not stepped on the field yet as the trade was immediately after the rookie draft. One owner received Brandon Marshall, who was a stud back then. The other guy got Forte. The league vetoed the deal based on Forte being a "waste of a rookie draft pick". All these years later and we still regret vetoing the deal as we totally screwed that owner. He's still in the league with us, but this gets mentioned every single offseason. So, now we don't veto anything.
