Those aren't the minorities that are being disenfranchised, Ray. :wall:

It's the dead, the illegal immigrants, etc that are having their voting rights trampled on by Voter ID law.

its probably safe to say that that is the brainwashed mindset of the majority of college students today.

Sad but they are being completely ruined by their psychotic professors.

Lol

Felons cant vote...thats like most of the blacks in florida

Smh

Florida Amendment 4

Florida Amendment 4, the Voting Rights Restoration for Felons Initiative, was on the ballot in Florida as an initiated constitutional amendment on November 6, 2018. It was approved.

A "yes" vote supported this amendment to automatically restore the right to vote for people with prior felony convictions, except those convicted of murder or a felony sexual offense, upon completion of their sentences, including prison, parole, and probation.

A "no" vote opposed this amendment to automatically restore the right to vote for people with prior felony convictions, except those convicted of murder or a felon

https://ballotpedia.org/Florida_Amendment_4,_Voting_Rights_Restoration_for_Felons_Initiative_(2018)

64.5% voted yes

And if they interviewed enough people then it would be "those were the wrong people" and if they interviewed enough of the "right" people then those people simply aren't woke, or have been "gotten to" by evil whites....on and on.....reality is to be avoided at all costs.

White college kid: "It's, umm. like, the black people are being oppressed."

Regular black person: "What the fvck?"

College kids are so stupid sometimes. And to think, they actually take out so many loans in college tuition that it takes 20 years for them to pay it back, and all for this "knowledge" they are amassing.

People should have to earn the right for a college education. Mandatory 10 years of work and self support out of high school before you have the right to go to college.

How many of those were felons?

Theres like 1.2 million here I believe. I voted against it. Kinda surprised it passed. I dont know if they do this in other states but in FL they actually have people go into the jails before voting time and collect votes from people who havent been convicted but have been charged. Crazy.

Why is that crazy? It might be the libertarian in me but that should be standard operating procedure. If you have not been convicted, you're not a criminal and you absolutely still have the right to vote. Anyone that says differently is the crazy one.

I dont know if someone is awaiting trial I just dont think they should be allowed to vote. Some dont even get a bail while they are awaiting trial but they can vote? F that.

So these felons can now vote on State/Local elections but still can't vote in Federal Elections, right?

Innocent until proven guilty exists for many reasons and this is one of them. If I was ever wrongly arrested, I sure as hell would hope that my rights as a law abiding citizen aren't taken away.

Pretty sure it is all levels of government federal included. Its BS. Yeah there are some people that have felonies that were harsh sentences but 99% of them got exactly what they deserve.

Its the beginning of the end for Forida as far as being a purple state. Itll be solid blue in a decade.

99.99% of people arent wrongfully arrested and I think awaiting trial should be one of the asterisks for what is allowed and isnt allowed for voting. I have zero empathy for people who break the law fock them could care less.

Sorry, iam, but I have to agree with Kanil on this. You aren't a criminal until you're actually convicted AND I think if you serve your time according to the laws in your state, then I feel you should be able to vote again.

I agree. When your rights and obligations of citizenship are restored, your voting rights should be too.

OMG

Heres the second claim Trump made, hoping to bolster the idea that photo ID should be required at polling places: If you buy a box of cereal you have a voter ID. They try to shame everybody by calling them racist, or calling them something, anything they can think of, when you say you want voter ID. But voter ID is a very important thing.

Darn The Man for keeping blacks from buying Apple Jack's!

I see wiff has shite on another thread with his Trump derangement gobbledygook.

can anyone translate his latest post? I don't speak retard. MDC, can you translate?

Reading Comprehension. Try it.

Those are Trump's albeit bizarre words.

Despite getting slapped down a few months ago for making the ridiculous claim that you need an ID to go to the grocery store, damned if Trump didn't double down and say it again. He actually thinks you need an ID to go buy cereal.

And that's his justification for voter ID?

I remember when George Bush Senior got blasted for not knowing how much a gallon of milk cost. I always thought that was a cheap shot. But even he knew you didn't need a ID card to buy the milk.

I mean there's no walking that back. Especially when he said it on two different occasions. That's just plain stupid.
