hardball 0 Posted August 20, 2006 I am in a 12 team keeper league. We keep 6 players. 2QB,2RB,3WR,1TE,1K,1D I started out handicapped because I kept Ricky Williams. Afer dumping him I was left with the following: Peyton Manning Jake Plummer (keep in mind that starting 2 QB makes them very valuable) Larry Johnson Willie Parker Reggie Wayne I drafted 11th of 12 teams in round 1 and 2 of 12 in round 2 etc. due to finishing runner up the year before. My picks were as follows: 1. Darrell Jackson 2. Tony Gonzalez 3. Joseph Addai (could win job) 4. Frank Gore (could be a stud) 5. Michael Clayton 6. Mark Clayton 7. Jacksonville D 8. Greg Jones (could take over) 9. Jay Cutler (obvious handcuff) 10. Matt Stover Obviously my season will depend on whether or not Addai, Gore or Greg Jones come up big. I am not confident in Willie Parker but I have LJ as a #1. I am curious what you think about those backs. I think I am good at QB but will need to get one for bye weeks somehow. I have 2 very solid receivers in Wayne and Jackson. What are your thoughts on the Clayton boys Will Tony Gonzalez bounce back? I thought he was a steal. Any and all comments are welcome. Where do I need to do better and who can be made available on my team to make it happen.
Cuse9 128 Posted August 20, 2006 Looks very good. Having Manning and LJ is tight!! Addai & Gore have great upside....Parker will be solid this year, needs more TD's though. Should be solid with Jackson, Wayne and the Clayton bros. Gonzo was a good grab that rounds out your starting team very well. I'm not a big Plummer fan...getting Cutler as a possible keeper was good, Cutler looks to have better skills than Plummer, which could make him a league elite in the future. It looks pretty good to me. I don't imagine there are any teams much better than what you have. Good job with keepers and drafting. Check mine if you can.......thanks http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=222825
