Frank M 181 Posted July 21, 2014 I don't understand how anyone can defend the Palestinians. There's no way to defend them, and it's almost impossible to understand centuries old conflicts/territorial disputes in the Middle East. When you're offered a piece of the pie and you say "Fock it, I want all the pie, and I'll kill innocent people to get it", then, yeah. I have no sympathy for your initial claims. Kids getting killed on either side sucks, though.

jerryskids 5,198 Posted July 21, 2014 link? At least you admit those savages had rockets in those places and do indeed use their children as human sheilds.Agreed. If there is evidence that Israel bombed such places knowing that no military presence was there, then they share culpability. I would appreciate a link before i believe it though, Sho. GobbleDog 816 Posted July 21, 2014 I've read many Palestinians aren't too happy with their leadership which has achieved virtually nothing after decades. I can sympathize with ordinary Palestinians who live like second class citizens in their own country and get the raw end of collateral damage every time Isreal attacks Hammas. IGotWorms 3,311 Posted July 21, 2014 He's regurgitating lefty talking points. I'm not really seeing it as a left/right issue. The U.S. government has always supported Israel regardless of party. That said one can express frustration at Israel's seeming disregard for collateral damage at times. Hamas is certainly much worse in their attitudes towards civilian casualties but thankfully they are much less effective at inflicting those casualties.
Sho Nuff 719 Posted July 21, 2014 link? At least you admit those savages had rockets in those places and do indeed use their children as human sheilds.Never would deny it...but look at every strike. Kilss innocent people and they never find any destroyed weapons. Its an idiotic strategy. And laughing at lefty talking point on this by saying both sides are beyond defending. But bunny and all can just keep thinking Israel is going about this smart if they want. As for a link...anyone believing the terrorists are firing rockets then.hanging around are focking morons. THEY allow this to go on by letting the terrorists mix in with them and use them as human shields. Then they are surprised when little brother attacks. If they were serious about wanting peace they could have it. They are not.
Sho Nuff 719 Posted July 21, 2014 I agree many of the people allow it...though would argue some don't gave much of a choice given the side holding weapons will force what they want.
NorthernVike 2,080 Posted July 21, 2014 The whole notion of a 'clean war' is bullshitt. Collateral damage is impossible to avoid. Voltaire 4,558 Posted July 22, 2014 Israel has a right to defend itself. Hopefully they can find and destroy as much of this tunnel network as possible and get rid of the missiles. I wouldn't mind if they re-occupied a strip of the Strip - the small border patch that connects the sh*thole to Egypt, dig a trench, and constantly detect/flood/destroy any tunnels going under there. Meanwhile, it would also be helpful if they stopped building settlements in the West Bank. They've got their wall which has done great job which is why we haven't heard of any suicide bombings on school buses in a long time. Their missile defense shield seems to be working well. At this point, stop kicking the animals with more and more settlements. Gaza does nothing on it's own. It relies on international relief help to survive. It would be nice if it all that donated money went to schools and hospitals rather than tunnels and weaponry but that speaks volumes about Hamas', the Palestinians' and their sponsors' priorities. mmmmm...beer 691 Posted July 22, 2014 Can you focking imagine the US military response if the mexican government or a faction of it launched 1600 rockets across the border into El Paso? Again...the attacks on Israel are not worth defending and I wouldn't do so. But to deny any culpability by Israel is being completely blind to what is going on over there. IMO...there is so much deep seeded hatred and disagreement over land that it may never be resolved. And both sides are guilty in not brokering true peace. Mexico ceded what is now most of the western stated after the Mexican American war (not counting the southern rump of Arizona, that was the gadsden purchase).
