    Shonn Greene

Shonn Greene is a must get right now. Any RB behind that offensive line and in that system is fantasy gold. Since Thomas Jones and Greene complement each other so well there is little doubt that Greene will see plenty of carries the rest of the way and definitely hawk some TD's from Jones.

  3. We've got 1 spot open in our 12 team live draft league based in the western suburbs of Chicago. This league is one of a kind in that we've got payouts for wins and total points, end of season bowl games for ALL teams , tons of awards (trophies, banners, plaques, cash), weekly get-togethers, profit sharing system and much much more. Very friendly, fun and most of all fair. send all inqueries to jmans@dls.net thanks!!

    Official ESPN Haters Thread

I just read this article http://www.scoutfantasyfootball.com/index....&Itemid=101 and must say that I dig it Did anybody see that fantasy draft special last night? When they took Carson Palmer in the first round I nearly vomitted on my remote control. They're message boards suck, they're fantasy league setup is the worst anywhere and I haven't read a useful piece of fantasy information in their magazine or website ever!! Becoming an Insider was a waste of $50 bucks. I do however disagree with the Sean Salisbury cutdown. Sals is the only football guy on ESPN that will give you the real dish and not cater to his favorite teams/coaches like Berman, Jackson and Young. Who else is with me??

    Weird Draft Order Selection...

I really don't think it matters where you draft you could still whip 'em if you draft well from that spot. Draft position is way over rated. Very rarely does the #1 pick wind up being the best player at the end of the year anyways and furthermore one player does not (SHOULD not) make your whole team or season. Just really piss everybody off and draft Michael Turner in the 6th and wait for LT to get injured. That'll learn 'em!! Having said all of this I do think it is bush league how they decided the order. Once you decide to add teams it should be an automatic re-selection of the draft order but that is just my opinion. If you like the guys and the league I wouldn't let a simple thing like draft position make your decision for you. Good luck in whatever you decide though...

    The most undervalued RB?

For starters the Panthers are going to a zone blocking system which should help their undersized linemen quite a bit. Then the drafted Kalil to play the center spot which should be an upgrade especially in zone and they are getting Wharton back at left tackle so Jordan Gross can go back to playing right. DeAngelo is a better cut back runner which is perfect for the zone blocking scheme. Foster has had his chances and dribbled it down his leg. Just my opinion anyways...

    The most undervalued RB?

Ahman is pretty better for leagues that give points for receptions and receiving yardage but if Kubiak winds up using his running backs like his mentor Mike Shanahan then I wouldn't touch a Houston RB until 5 round or beyond. That being said I think that Cedric Benson should be rated a top ten back as there is nobody left to contend with him in Chicago anymore. Also, I saw Laurence Maroney rated as the #2 RB OVERALL(!) on the Scout fantasy football website which is just insane. The two backs that will finish in the top ten that nobody else is talking about are Adrian Peterson & DeAngelo Williams. These guys are young, fast, powerful and run behind excellent offensive lines.
  9. Long running league based in the suburbs of Chicago has an opening. We are a twelve team league, scoring + yardage, run on CBS Sportsline and have been together for over 10 years. There are many perks in this league including a huge championship trophy, division/championship banners and much more. We are having our draft the weekend sometime on Labor Day weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun) and the available team has the best chance to obtain the #1 overall pick (it's a lottery system). Email me at jmans@dls.net for more information. Thanks!!
