Sergio Garcia - Hits a bad drive, chucks driver into the woods, climbs in to get it

I remember when Happy Gilmore did that for a ball that went in to a lake.

I could get into watching more golf if the players were drinking, swearing and throwing/breaking clubs. That kind of golf really hits home for me.

Saw a guy throw his entire bag into the pond in front of the 18th hole. We were at the bar tallying up. Drinking beers and having fun. All anybody could say was, "bad day?"

Dude was so pissed off, he ordered a beer and a shot when he got to the club house. Couldn't pay for it. He realized his wallet, money, and car keys were in his bag. In the pond. In the water. He jumps in the water, carries his bag, gets his car keys and wallet, out of the water, soaking fawking wet. Screaming a few expletives and throws his bag back in the pond.

One of the funniest things I've ever scene on a golf course.

He was a well known D-bag in the golfing circles around here. Uncle owned a lumber yard. Rich family. Worked a few hours a day and would go play money games against some of the best amateurs around. Mostly Wolf and $25 dot games with big side bets. Little guy who could hit the ball a ton off the drive. Good iron player, and putter. But that twelve inches between his ears and his ego always was a hinderance to his game. He was easily rattled when down. He once challenged a guy oon a tee box that he could drive ten straight balls over the water(260 carry no wind) One grand. Would have evened the Wolf game up if he won that bet.. Nine straight drives safe. But, a guy in a group waiting behind them says "What's the haps?" Is told of the bet and says "$200 says you don't do it!"

JP was rattled. Big time. Hit the drive and hit the inbankment. In the water it went. A lot of money changed hands that day.

He used to play with Kelly Gibson a lot. Another D-bag. Was on the tour ffor a brief stint.
