Thousands of DACA recipients with arrest records, including 10 accused murderers, allowed

Recommended Posts

Nearly 60,000 immigrants with arrest records -- including 10 accused of murder -- have been allowed to stay in the United States under the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) revealed Monday.

According to DHS, 59,786 DACA recipients have been arrested while in the U.S. -- approximately 7.8 percent of all who have been approved to remain in this country under the program since it was created in 2012. Of those, 53,792 were arrested before their most recent request for a so-called "grant of deferred action" was approved. Another 7,814 were arrested after their request was approved.

I can't quite figure out how you can proudly wave the flag of another country, but consider it punishment to be sent back there.

The left has completely lost their minds. The common sense answer to this is ship them out. Their answer will be some sort of spin.

Anyone who is not a US citizen that is found guilty of a major crime should be deported. Small like traffic tickets shouldn't qualify but things like stealing from others or getting into a fight should.

Correct, and being here illegally is a major crime!

Only in America are legal citizens labeled "racists" and "Nazis," but illegal aliens with prior arrests are called "Dreamers.

Anyone here illegally should be deported. That being said, it should be much easier/cheaper to be here legally.

I'm not sure, but 6 figures and a bad coke habit, it aint easy man.

Why?

Because we need someone to take the crap jobs that no one wants. It's the American way. Immigrants come in, work hard at the crappy jobs to provide a better life for their kids. Those American kids grow up and get the non-crappy jobs but we then need new immigrants to take the crap jobs.

I honestly couldn't tell you but when you have people coming from countries where their annual income is equal to what you make in a week just about ANY cost is insurmountable.

Fake news!

Legal citizens of Germany were called Nazis too.

They just weren't such f*cking snowflakes about it.

we should charge 14,000$ a person to come here legally, and allow 1.8 million a year

year 1 that pays the 25 billion to build the wall

year 2+ profit

It doesn’t work that way any more and we have millions of people on welfare that should be doing those jobs!

The USA takes in more legal immigrants than any other country in the world.

I'm being serious. How much does it cost to come here legally? How much is a Visa? And, knowing that even say $50 is a lot to someone coming from a cess pool of a third world country, do you advocate we pay for their Visa application? For anyone who wants to apply, even if they're completely ineligible? I mean, seriously, what system do you think we should implement? Because I'm gonna guess cost isn't the reason most illegals aren't coming here legally.

They pay those illegal handlers that much to bring them here, if we had proper immigration, they could be applying and paying that much to us. :dunno:

I was being serious also when I said I don't know.

How much is a Visa?

I don't know the costs involved.

And, knowing that even say $50 is a lot to someone coming from a cess pool of a third world country, do you advocate we pay for their Visa application?

I think there should be SOME fee but the entire process should not cost more than around $100 (with different fees at different "gates" along the process.

For anyone who wants to apply, even if they're completely ineligible?

I believe there should be some fee. Obviously there should be a set of guidelines of people that we are not going to let in and if people outside of those guidelines apply, they lose that fee.

I mean, seriously, what system do you think we should implement?

I think if someone makes it to our border, they should be able to apply for citizenship. They should then be given a temporary area to set up camp that has access into the "real US" controlled, while their application is reviewed. There should be some sort of background check system involved to verify that A) they have not already been denied, and B) they are not a known criminal where they are from.

Because I'm gonna guess cost isn't the reason most illegals aren't coming here legally. My belief is that it's a lack of knowledge and resources for most people here illegally.

As many times as you want in the church. Then you knock them all up and get welfare.

Yes, but they have to pass that background check. "This person doesn't exist in our records" doesn't pass the background check. "This person exists and is not a $hithead" does.

Ok, well we'll just have to disagree on that. Even if we could process the amount of people who would come here with an open borders policy, our infrastructure buildout couldn't keep pace. Not to mention job creation and a million other logistic difficulties. This is simply not a realistic stance and not one I could ever get behind.

If you allow more people in than we have jobs for, not only will wages suffer, you will invite a recession.

Right now I see no way we have a recession again as long as the retarded millennials don't want to work like people from the normal generations before them. The talking heads are predicting one late 2019 or I 2020 but if you can't fill orders and can't find quality workers, you have to keep what employees you have. Add more people than jobs and you start laying people off and hiring back others at lower pay.

Using the 50 million exaggeration of Baker Boy, just imagine those people fighting for 5 million open jobs. We all suffer. ###### the rest of the planet. ###### em in the ass. I like it here.

It really is bizarre. There is this base point of fact:

---------------------------------

Through hard work and innovation the people before us built this great country. It's at the forefront of most area of advancement of man and is the land of opportunity.

---------------------------------

Then there are people of one of two camps:

- Let's continue orderly, controlled growth so as to stay the best place to live in the world.

or

- Let's bring in a constant flow of cess pool dwellers that are slowly but more rapidly over time destroying what has been built up here.

It amazes me how many people fall in to the 2nd category above. They won't admit it but they won't do anything to stem the tide.

The democrats long billed themselves as the advocates for the working people of this country. Once they sold out to the banks and corporations, that claim was laid to rest. Now it's all about SJW nonsense and pumping in as many prospective new voters as they can so they retain power. It's so easy to see though.

If you take those people that want to allow as many as possible to migrate into the US & place them on one side of the country and take logical people and put us on the other side of the country with a wall, it will be Mad Max on their side within a decade (conservatively).

modest estimates is they pay around 10k to a coyote, so they don't have to pay upfront, but what if they have an option of 14,000 up front, or 200$ a month for 10 years. You are probationary until your debt is paid off. Then if you can speak read and write english welcome aboard

And remember all those people who advocated for open borders? Guess which side of the country they'll want to be on? You bet - the logical side. They talk the talk, but will never walk the walk.

No way. They should be tried and punished under us law.

Some murderer gets caught and sent home, where he just hangs out Scott free? Maybe to cross the border again some day?

Speaking as an immigrant myself, no, if the only possible consequence is deportment, there is no deterrent.

This is actually the opposite of how it should be. Or are the 5 star hotels cheaper than the flea bag motels where you're from?
