Bench all your Niners.

I don't know that it can be much worse than Blaine. A few years a go I would have been excited to see Kap run the Chip system but he looks so skinny and weak right now I'm not sure he can be the threat he was back in his prime.

I saw a report he's also coming off surgeries. I truly believe he can be much worse than Gabs.

Well, look on the bright side. If hes lost a ton of weight, hes gotta be faster... Right?

That being said, I've never been a big fan of his decision making. He may be a better fantasy QB (assuming he runs the ball) but I think Gabbert may actually give them the best chance to win.

I think it's a good move.

Let's see what he can do.

I think he could do better.

Not saying it's about time based on the past.

It's based on right now .

What has gabbert done for you ?

At least give Kaep a shot and see what you have. right now your team is 1-4.

It's a good move.

And I do think he is the better Qb but I don't know if the team will be better with him because the Niners are just awful.

It's not a good move. Ponder is a better option. He's more accurate. When the game starts and Kap can't hit open receivers again this will go south in a hurry.

Yea it just might, but to not play him and see what he can do is a mistake.

Giving him a shot on a bad football is not a mistake it's a good move to evaluate what you have moving forward.

With Gabbert of with Ponder or with Kaep they would still be a bad football team.

Only one thing that Kap would be good for:

That would be to come in on the last drive when the game was won to kneel......which basically means he would never need to come in

The Bills should play the National Anthem on every 9ers third down play.

Oh lord! That's fantastic. Well done!!. ...just think of the defense trash talk they'll give Kap. The LB's will all be singin on 3rd down.

I'm guessing this only helps Kerley?

I don't think so necessarily.

Kaep will probably try slinging it to Smith and Patton more than Gabbert did.

Gabbert's limitations were good for Kerley.

It is funny to me that people forget WHY he was such a good Qb in 2013. He benefited from being able to run the read option and NOT get hit. The NFL changed the rules that made the QB a ball carrier and open to hits on this play. Without the ability to freeze the LB's with the chance of a run he is NOT a good qb.

Yep, exactly the same as with RG3. Same story now too.

Several hits, injuries, and surgeries later, not the same player at all.

Not going to change either.

I have no problem with the Qb switch.

It's the whole team.

They are still the sorry ol Niners.

Kelly will be coaching in college soon enough.

Something you wont need.

Probably best if you just at least try to figure out who knows their stuff here, and listen to them.
