cbfalcon 824 Posted December 6, 2018 Dearest children of La Montana División de Padrino,Yes, this season our lesser league mates have made a many joke at our expense due to a poor combined record. For this, we should be quite...... grateful. Our division features the current reigning DNDL World Champion. Our division has won 4 of the last 6 DNDL Championships. Our division features the franchise with the greatest won/loss record in DNDL league history. Our division features the two career highest scoring franchises in DNDL league history. Yes, we should be grateful. With our history of success on the battlefield, (not to mention our division's style, swagger, character, and sex appeal), we are fortunate that the Esiason and Brister Divisions haven't folded up on us and went home. If a few jokes directed in our glorious sunlit direction help them cope, tis a small price to pay for our collective glory. As for this regular season just expired....Your Padrino and Savior has now reclaimed what is his, as we have now won 6 of 7 Montana Division Championships, in what the pundits are calling a stretch of immortality the likes of which hasn't been seen since that of George Armstrong Custer that begat in July, 1861. That said, your fearless leader did not reclaim said glory with ease.Sweet sweet Ed, my franchise shall now admit that we felt like we were a few steps behind you for most of the current season. You defeated us twice in head to head battle, and you did so with the moxie that can only be possessed by a man wearing the good type of ring. Yours is a franchise of much depth and skill. This depth was enough to elevate you to the status of Champion, which is a label that can never be undone. You are a made man now. Looking ahead, if you are able to acquire as few as 1-2 more soldiers with top end talent, this same depth can help you contend for future championships, much to Your Padrino's chagrin. Young RedRaider, oh so hellbent on revenge.....The record is misleading, as you possess the makings of a solid starting lineup. Suspensions and injuries obviously hurt. But in a normal season, if you can start off with a core of Julio Jones, Julian Edelman, Mark Ingram, Isaiah Crowell, and Chris Thompson, you have a base from which to work. If variance swings the other direction in 2019, you can immediately be competitive. You've shown boldness, making the big move for Julio Jones. You've shown the fortitude to make a read and go with it with your acquisition of the aforementioned Crowell. These are attributes that shall serve you well going forward. Kicking and fighting until the end, dear SkiBum, you have earned Your Padrino's respect. You took hold of a franchise that wasn't so much completely devoid of talent as it was cultured and pedigreed in losing. Changing this culture is your most paramount challenge, and you are well on your way. History will likely view the boldness in which you flipped what was then your greatest asset in TY Hilton for a draft pick that became Nick Chubb as the beginning of what was to come. One year later and you already have a young core to build around in stars like Andy Luck, Nokolai Chubb, Phil The Dil Lindsay, and Sweet SoCal Ridley. There are multiple teams in this league that would trade their top 4 for your top 4 right now, no questions asked. Division brethren, know that you are appreciated and respected by The Die Nasty El Padrino. Our league mates might think they wrote us off, but they haven't roped us off. Soon the drama will be gone and they'll pray, but it's not enough. Yes, sometimes The Padrino take all the shine, and it sometime seems I've drank all the wine. But we are years ahead and the Brister/Esiason divisions are far behind. We have trophies one, two, three, four, and soon five. With that, I love you all and I shall now proceed in my march towards destiny...edit: OUR march towards destiny... and I will do so with the wind at my back and the knowledge that I have your loyalty and support. Sincerely and with affection, Die Nasty El Padrino

Trading Kelce for what turned into Penny was what cost me the division. I have made some of the worst trades in the history of history.
