    Need a flex from 3

Half ppr league. Would normally go Marvin Jones here but late start and late week injury has me concerned. Also have Keelan Cole and John Brown. Leaning Cole right now but could use some opinions. Thx!
  2. Between little work in Week 4 and a repeat matchup with a healthy Revis this week, he'll be fine

MNF- What Do You Need For A Victory?

I need the Dallas D to score less than 15pts. Buffalo's offense scoring 9 or more goes a long ways towards that. That said, I STILL need the dallas D to have less than 2 tds. If they allow 3 or less, i'm in bad shape (and this is the one guy I ALWAYS lose to as well) other league I need Crayton to have less than 2tds, pretty confident here. I think Owens and Whitten go off.

What WR could you expect to get by trading......?

That's a classic "take points off my bench and put em in the lineup trade", and it works for both sides it sounds like from your posts. I would do it. With SA, Jordan, and Edge, you maintain RB depth (though Week 8 is an issue with SA and Edge on BYE) while improving your WR corps (and Johnson has done ok so far in a wide open DET offense). Like I said, I would do it, but I would have a concern over the BYE weeks (but you had that already)

It's starts already - trade objections

One thing we don't know is what does the rest of team A's WR's look like? For all we know Colston is his WR5 and he's trying to trade some depth for immediate help at RB. Are these 2 players supposedly equal? Hell no, but that doesn't make the trade vetoable all by itself. The trade helps both teams, that's all that matters.

If you had create a roster spot

Of the players there, I like Jacobs, Brown, and Jones to still do something and, as you have 4 RB's on the bench and only 1 WR you're considering dropping, I'd keep Toomer and drop Taylor.

    With the Rams O-Line Crumbling...

There is one additional O-lineman, Richie Incognito (RG), that will be out this week. Of course he was also out last week and his fill in, Claude Terrell, was a starter last year when the Rams had all the o-line injuries. That said, the biggest concern was if Adam Goldberg was going to line up at tackle, he isn't. Barron is moving the left side (his college position) and Milford Brown is taking over on the right side. Barron takes alot of false start calls but should be a more than adequate fill in for Pace. As of this time, no other offensive linemen are listed as injured for the Rams so the only real issue is Barron replacing Pace. Give the o-line a bit of a downgrade but it doesn't raise my injury concern for Bulger more than about 5%.

Do I have a snowball's chance in hell tonight

You're no worse than me, I need 2 50+yd TD's or 3 tds and 160yds, and I only have Driver. I get: 1 pt per 20yds (plus 1pt bonus at 100yds) 6pts per TD (4pt bonus if over 50yds long) I'll be rooting for ya (and me)

    1st Year Commish...

I have to agree with everyone here when they say you can't change now. A bit of advice for the future though, my league has rules stating that a player may only be played at the position that he is listed at on NFL.com. It avoids issues like this in that, even if the site makes an error on a player's position, all of the owners know what position he can be played at, no questions. This started from the Kordell Stewart days when he would occasionally line up at WR and we had owners who wanted to play him there (lack of players during playoffs due to injury and rosters were locked). Makes things much easier even if you almost never have to use the rule.

Why you trade for Brady now

Actually saw this one coming and got him in both of my leagues over the last 3 weeks. Gave up Brunell, F Taylor, and R Brown for Brady and Fitz in one league and in my money league gave up A Green and Leinert for Brady and L White. I have LJ and FWP as my starting backs in both leagues and just got highest weekly score for the year in both leagues this past week! Plus his schedule down the stretch should put me in great position for the playoffs. Not a bad turnaround considering I did the QB freefall in both leagues at draft time and was dealing with Warner/Plummer as my original starters.

    My sentiments exactly!

    Kevin Curtis

I wouldn't be so quick to hop on the Rams ST there just yet. They haven't had a legitimate return threat since Tony Horne in '99 and their return and coverage teams have been horrid since then. I don't even think they've had the same ST coach 2 years in a row since then they've been so bad. If the "D" is thrown in with it, you'll get decent sack numbers (Little is great off the edge) and they did a pretty good job creating turnovers last year, that was a different "D" coordinator though. Just temper your enthusiasm for them and grab a better D/ST before them if you can and then grab them as a 2nd or BYE week fill in if you have the roster spot. Ram's fan since '72

    Kevin Jones & Mike Martz

Regardless of either teams WR's straight ahead speed, what sets apart the STL WR's (today and in the GSoT days) was their route running. Ike Bruce is one of the best route runners in history, able to maintain his speed out of his break, thus creating more separation from a CB who slows down slightly trying to cover him. Combine that with the deep crossing routes that STL loves to run (and get RAC yards afterward) and you can see that DET's WRs have no shot to even come close to what Martz was able to do in STL. Bruce passed his knowledge down to Holt and Hakim (and now Curtis and McDonald). DET's WRs, by comparison, run sloppy routes and aren't used to the Martz idea of "10 yards and cut means EXACTLY 10 yards and cut." That's where DET will have problems. The QB throws to a spot in Martz's system, will the WR's be disciplined enough to hit the route perfectly? History so far says no. They don't even seem disciplined enough to maintain the proper weight, let alone run the correct routes.

    Jets thinking about Reggie Bush

Trading down with the Titans makes the most sense to me as well. While DD has been inconsistent at times (and an injury concern as well), durability could also be a problem for Bush. Why?? In his entire college career he carried the ball over 20 times in 1 game on only 3 occasions. That says to me that Pete Carroll was worried about over using him and his getting hurt as a result. I know they had White as well but still. Teams win on the O and D lines. Houston has been horrible in that respect since their inception, particularly on the O-Line. Getting Ferguson would help Carr to produce and would also probably help DD's production. Add in that DD has already shown that he can perform as a receiver as well as a RB and Bush becomes excess for that team. Don't get me wrong, I think Bush will have a great career, but I don't see him fitting in Houston before the O-Line is fixed. A RB's shelf life is too short for you to get the RB BEFORE you fix any O-Line/QB issues. Look at what Dallas did, they got Emmitt the year after they got Aikman to give Aikman time to be ready and to get the O-Line into some shape. Houston would be smart to do the same, go O-Line before RB. That said, I really have a feeling that New Orleans would screw the whole thing up by taking Ferguson at #2. They have to think about protecting their investment in Brees and I think that could be one of the worries for Houston in making a deal.
