  1. We have 2 openings we are looking to fill in one of our long term leagues. The leagues are 16 team IDP, contract dynasty leagues that have been around since 2012 and 2015. The leagues have been set up to mimic the NFL in many ways: Contracts - after acquiring a player you assign a contract between 1 and 4 years. This allows players to continue to rotate through the league and helps teams who are rebuilding. Franchise tag - you keep one zero year contract player per year who is given a 4 year contract. Transition tag - we have an auction for transition players and the original owner is allowed to match a bid and keep the player. Worst to First waivers - to help teams that aren’t as good to rebuild quicker Trades - The setup of the league and the contracts makes trading an important part of running your team. We normally have very little turnover with many years of all teams returning. We have a balanced scoring system where IDP’s scores are a very important part of the league. We have had a defensive player lead our league in scoring in the past. We have a far more accurate scoring system for QB’s and RB’s. The QB loses points for an incompletion and a RB loses points on a run for no gain. So, a QB who has a horrible game will not save his day because of garbage points. If his completion percentage was low and very little to show in TD’s or yards his score will not be good. The scoring is proven with usage since early 2000’s so we know it works. We start a QB, plus 5 offensive players (RB, WR and TE plus 2 flex) We start 2 DE, 1DT, 3LBers, 2CB, 2 Safeties and 1 flex plus a kicker and punter The Insane Asylum - 2 open teams The league site is: https://www48.myfantasyleague.com/2023/home/30231#0 Open Team Kev https://www48.myfantasyleague.com/2023/ ... =0016&O=07 Traded some next year picks Currently has 2.11, 3.03, 5.03, 5.12 Open Team 119 https://www48.myfantasyleague.com/2023/ ... =0012&O=07 This team traded all his 2023 picks The Man Cave - No openings The league site is: https://www49.myfantasyleague.com/2022/home/48493#0 These teams aren’t bad but certainly not strong (or no draft picks) so we will collect $60 which will pay for the entire 2023 season and $30 will go towards the 2024 league year which will allow trading of 2024 picks. Normal fee is $60 per year. Thank you for your interest.
  2. 3 teams are filled and paid One last team open and we will be drafting soon after team is filled.
  3. Only 2 teams left We might be able to start draft on Sunday night
  4. FILLED We have 4 openings that we are looking to fill in a long term league that started in 2012. Long term league with same commish since the start of the league. We will have a draft start as soon as possible after the 4 teams are filled and you have a chance to look over the rules. We will have 50 rounds with 5 rookies going onto the taxi squad. Those 5 players will get 5 year contracts. You will get 113 years worth of contracts to give to the remaining 45 players - you have to give each player a contract between 1 and 4 years. 5. The Man Cave is now filled The Insane Asylum has 3 openings
  6. Man Cave only 1 team left Insane 3 teams left
  7. We had an unfortunate situation in our leagues and have openings in both leagues. We have to replace a father son combinations in both leagues and another owner. A brief history of our leagues - The Insane Asylum started in 2012 and the guys in the league really enjoyed the league so by request we started The Man Cave for the 2015 season. We still have most owners having teams in both leagues. The scoring and setup of the leagues goes back to the early 2000’s. We have very little turnover on an annual basis. Experienced Commish who has run both leagues since they formed. The league fee is $60 per year. We are through the draft and auction process and some of the teams have traded all of next year's picks so we are allowing the new owner to pay $60 to cover the cost of the 2023 season and play the 2022 season for free. We start a QB, plus 5 offensive players (RB, WR and TE plus 2 flex) We start 2 DE, 1DT, 3LBers, 2CB, 2 Safeties and 1 flex plus a kicker and punter The leagues have several rules that allow you to have very good control over your roster: Contracts – after an annual auction for players whose contract expired you give out contracts that vary from 1 to 4 years for players won in the auction (2.5 years times the number of free agents won). Years ago, I played in a salary cap league where a bad owner can blow up an entire league (I took over an abandoned team that the rules made it impossible to rebuild). I have found that having contracts like this is a far better way to keep players rotating and not having one owner be able to destroy the league with bad salary decisions. Rookie draft - The rookies get a 5 year contracts plus we have a taxi squad to keep rookies until they blossom into productive players. Franchise and Transition tags - we give each owner the right to use 2 tags annually: a franchise tag (allows you to keep the player and he automatically gets a 4 year contract) and a transition tag (allows you to match the top offer for that player). We use worst to first weekly waivers which allows teams to rebuild quicker. The Man Cave - now filled The Insane Asylum - 3 open teams The league site is: https://www48.myfantasyleague.com/2022/home/30231#0 Open 12th https://www48.myfantasyleague.com/2022/options?L=30231&F=0003&O=07 Open Bed https://www48.myfantasyleague.com/2022/options?L=30231&F=0008&O=07 Open Loon https://www48.myfantasyleague.com/2022/options?L=30231&F=0012&O=07 If interested or have a question please contact me by a message on this site. 8. LEAGUE FULL Hello All, 2 Gone only ONE TEAM LEFT A brief history of our leagues - The Insane Asylum started in 2012 and the guys in the league really enjoyed the league so by request we started The Man Cave for the 2015 season. We still have most owners having a team in both leagues. The scoring and setup of the leagues goes back to the early 2000’s. We have very little turnover and this is the first time since the 2020 we have had to post openings. Two of the openings are the same owner who has serious medical conditions and will not be able to return and the other is an owner from both leagues but had to drop one league due to limited time. Experienced Commish who has run both leagues since they formed. The league fee is $60 per year and there is an option to pay $30 for the next year to trade that year’s picks. We have a balanced scoring system where IDP’s scores are a very important part of the league. We have had a defensive player lead our league in scoring in the past. We have a far more accurate scoring system for QB’s and RB’s. The QB loses points for an incompletion and a RB loses points on a run for no gain. We use worst to first weekly waivers which allows teams to rebuild quicker. When looking at teams keep in mind that players who show as 1 will be zero when the league rolls so you will be cutting a majority of those players keeping one with your franchise and possibly one with transition tags. If looking at other rosters the same will apply and the majority of guys showing 1 year will be available in the auction (some teams already cut players). The Man Cave - One opening The league site is: https://www64.myfantasyleague.com/2021/home/48493#0 Open team was Chris Hogans - traded some pick so has 2.10, 4.02 and 5.02 The $60 payment goes to pay the $30 balance for 2022 league fees and $30 to pay for ½ of 2023 league fees (can trade 2023 picks) https://www64.myfantasyleague.com/2021/options?L=48493&F=0007&O=07 If interested or you have a question please reach out through this site. The $60 payment goes to pay the 2020 league fees. http://www64.myfantasyleague.com/2019/o ... =0014&O=07 The Insane Asylum The league site is: http://www68.myfantasyleague.com/2019/home/30231#0 The open team link is here – has all picks for next year plus an extra 5th – Pick 1.02 and 2nd pick in each round. The $60 payment goes to pay the $30 balance for 2020 league fees and $30 to pay for ½ of 2021 league fees (can trade 2021 picks) http://www68.myfantasyleague.com/2019/o ... =0001&O=07 If interested or have a question please contact commissioner through the league homepage: Communication -> email to commissioner Or contact me by a message on this site. 10. We are looking to fill one team in a 16-team league. This is the last team left all other teams have already paid. This team was already paid for the 2019 season so your full $60 payment pays for the 2020 season. So you get 2 years for the price of one. The annual league fee is $60 per year and there is an option to pay $30 for the next year to trade that year’s picks. The Man Cave league is entering its 4th year and the scoring and setup of the league goes back over 12 years. Experienced Commish who has run the league since it formed and has a 2nd duplicate league (The Insane Asylum) that is going into its 7th year. The league has several things that allow you to have very good control over your roster including giving out contracts that vary from 1 to 4 years for players won in an annual auction. The rookies get a 5 year contracts plus we have a taxi squad to keep rookies until they blossom into productive players. We give each owner the right to use a franchise tag (allows you to keep the player and he automatically gets a 4 year contract) and a transition tag (allows you to match the top offer for that player) on their players who have an expiring contract. We use worst to first weekly waivers which allows teams to rebuild quicker. We have a balanced scoring system with fractional scoring where IDP’s scores are a very important part of the league. We have had Watt lead the league in scoring a couple of years back. We have a far more accurate scoring system for QB’s, RB’s and even punters. The QB loses points for an incompletion and a RB loses points on a run for no gain. So a QB who has a horrible game with sacks, 50% completion and couple of INTs without gaining many yards or having many TD’s could end up with a negative score in this league. We start a QB, plus 5 offensive players (RB, WR and TE plus 2 flex) We start 2 DE, 1DT, 3LBers, 2CB, 2Safety and 1 flex plus a kicker and punter The league site is: http://www64.myfantasyleague.com/2018/home/48493#0 The Open team link is here http://www64.myfantasyleague.com/2018/o ... =0015&O=07 If interested please contact commissioner through the league homepage: Communication -> email to commissioner Or contact me through here. Thanks for your interest.
  11. Filled Due to unexpected circumstances an owner who is in 2 leagues I run had to drop out so I have a team open in 2 different leagues. The teams in both leagues have issues.... one the team is weak and the other team he has traded all of his 2017 draft picks. So in both leagues 2017 will be a free year. -We have not had a draft yet this year in either league. -We have a free agent auction every year that hasn't happened yet this year so there will be an opportunity to rebuild through the auction. -Waivers are worst to first so the worst team will have the opportunity to get the best available player every week The rules for both leagues are the same so here is information about the leagues. The league fee is $60 per year (both owners taking over the teams will have to pay $60). The first new owner to pay the $60 fee gets his pick of the two teams. The Insane Asylum league is entering its 6th year and the scoring and setup of the league goes back over 12 years. Experienced Commish who has run the league since it formed and has per request started a 2nd duplicate league (The Man Cave) that is going into its 3rd year. The leagues have several things that allow you to have very good control over your roster including giving out contracts that vary from 1 to 4 years for players won in an annual auction. The rookies get a 5 year contracts plus we have a taxi squad to keep rookies until they blossom into productive players. (the fee the original owner paid to trade 2018 picks will be returned to him) If interested please contact commissioner through the league homepage: Communication -> email to commissioner Or contact me through here. Thanks for your interest.

  13. FILLED.................Thanks for looking The Insane Asylum is looking for one good owner - 15 guys are paid and ready to roll. 16 team league - the more active the new owner the better. $60 annual fee - PayPal (This pays for the 2016 season) The team you will take over has all its rookie picks and picks 4th overall. Some Highlights: -Very balanced scoring in order to make all positions valuable (Overall ranking in points - JJ Watt #7, Delanie Walker #10, Marcus Peters #13, Aaron Donald #14, Reshard Jones #16). In the top 25 overall players we have QB, RB, WR, TE, DE, DT, CB and Safety. In the top 50 in overall scoring every position in the league is represented. -Scoring that has been tested for over 10 years. You are not getting into a league the just threw numbers in there and you will see what happens in real games. -The top 100 scorers in the league included 21 QB, 8 RB, 18 WR, 9 TE, 8 DEs, 5 DTs, 11 LBers, 7 CB, 6 S, 3 kickers, 3 punters -Start QB, RB, WR, WR, TE (plus one flex - non QB) and IDP start 2DE, 1DT, 3LB, 2CB, 2S (plus one flex), Kicker and Punter. -More accurate scoring with QB, RB and Punter getting positive and negative points. If a QB has a bad day it will show in his final score - He could even end up with a negative score. -Annual Veteran auction and rookie draft. -GM experience - giving contracts to players won in the auction every year. This is a unique experience and really enjoyed by guys who want more of a hands on experience. -No salaries - this can complicate a league and too often someone gets a team into cap hell and you can't get out of it. I have seen leagues fold because of this happening so we avoid that problem by our setup. -Victory Points used for standings. -Experienced commish -Established league this is our 5th year and we have a 2nd league called The Man Cave that is going into year 2. League http://www32.myfantasyleague.com/2016/home/30231#0 Team http://football32.myfantasyleague.com/2016/options?L=30231&F=0005&O=07 Trading will be starting ASAP once this last team is claimed. If interested or if you have questions feel free to use the communications --> email to commish from the Asylum homepage or send message through here. Thanks for your interest.
