Fine. Dropping my placeholders. We'll have an F5-off.

Thank you for taking one for the team. Maybe when the rest of us play him some of us will get an advantage in games played.

I think dey wuh doin' da griddy. -
Yep I agree and I think this is a case where if they don't make the team out of spring training, they will be released, and under our normal rules I would then have to drop them anyway. Although even if they do make the roster, I suppose it could take Yahoo a day or two into the season to add them.
-
Sounds good and if there's any reason not to do it, that's fine, it will just save me from constantly refreshing Yahoo for the next couple weeks. I went ahead and added: Rafael Marchán, C, PHI as Kolton Wong and Cody Poteet, P, NYY as Julio Teheran
-
Yahoo would definitely add them if it got to the point where they would be playing in major league games (I hope), but I guess they didn't add anyone who was not signed to a major league deal at the time of their import, or something (although the big name free agents were out there ). Both of the guys I'm interested in played in the majors last year and are still active. They're probably inconsequential, but I'd grab them just because there is still so much uncertainty in Os camp. They are: Kolton Wong Julio Teheran

If there are any undrafted guys that we would like to roster who are not in the database, would we be able to declare them here and pick up stand-ins? I dunno what's with Yahoo this year but there are some dudes I'm surprised not to be finding.

Thought the supplemental was over. ESPN’s Jeff Passan reports the Padres are finalizing a trade to acquire Dylan Cease from the White Sox.

Be lying if I said I wasn't tempted to take him at 6, but last year left a really bad taste in my mouth.

C – Adley Rutschman, James McCann 1B – Christian Walker, Ryan Mountcastle 2B – Jordan Westburg, Jace Peterson, Jackson Holliday? 3B – Ramon Urias, Joey Ortiz? SS - Gunnar Henderson, Jorge Mateo OF – Cedric Mullins, Anthony Santander, Austin Hays, Ryan O'Hearn, Aaron Hicks, DJ Stewart SP – Corbin Burnes, Grayson Rodriguez, Kyle Bradish?, John Means, Nestor Cortes, Alex Cobb, Kyle Gibson, Wade Miley RP – Evan Phillips, Craig Kimbrel, Yennier Cano, Tanner Scott, Cionel Perez, Hunter Harvey, DL Hall, Shawn Armstrong Very uneventful draft due to unkind bones. Absolutely LOADED UP on mediocre pitching. Would have liked to have taken Justin Turner second but felt compelled to grab Kimbrel. That pick was really just securing the "Orioles closer", because I don't have much faith in Kimbrel, but should have rights to anyone who might replace him. Burnes is like an extra supplemental pick, but losing Bradish almost completely offsets that. Hoping he can fully recover. No Manny means my young Os are going to have to take another step forward if I am to make the playoffs again. Still a lot to be decided in Spring Training.
