I appreciate all the opinions on the trade offer. In the end, it didnt matter, as he pulled back the offer. It got gradually smaller and smaller. Until, I just passed

I see WR as a need. Especially with you only needing to start 1 RB Austin would be my pick. Maybe even move back 2-3 spots to a RB needy team, and pick up more players or move up in the 2nd

I could drop Benson, DHB, and Shaun hill I have Bush and Doug Martin as starters, with a Jets RB as my bye week Josh Gordon, Reggie Wayne, Garcon, Sanu and start Stafford at QB with Rivers as a backup

so, Im in a tough spot. I need a RB. and at 1.2, I was hoping for Bell. He was the only one I could take with no regrets. But now, I have an offer for the 1.2. All told it comes down to this Goodson Ivory Hilton Cecil Shorts Rivers 2.02 2.11 for the 1.2 thoughts?

    The 2013 Dynasty Q & A thread

Here is the link to the league that uses the 25CY. All players with no CY have been cut during the off season. the players with CYs attached are undroppable. so it makes you HAVE to be tough when giving out CYs. http://football16.myfantasyleague.com/2012/options?L=13039&O=07

I like the Wilson trade. The Ingram, enh. Seems like alot to give up for someone who really hasnt done anything. At this point, I think youre paying more for his age than production or potential

Oh, Im ok with it. I just prefer to sit back and play as an owner, instead of worrying about others. I got everything done. The only thing Im worried about is tracking the 3 year contracts and Taxi Squads

Could we have an fftoday league?

In my first dynasty league, we do one round per month. The draft is April 25th? First round May 15th Second round June 15th Third round July 15h Fourth round August 15th then rosters get cut down to 24 players Fifth round August 30th this keeps people interested all off season. The later round picks get just as much value, since you take into account, offseason injuries, retirements, trades, waived players and preseason battles. the 5.01 is almost as valuable as a 2.01 Make halffuture ante required for trading of any 2014 picks. If the owner does not return, he forfeits the 50% ante Ive started a Contract Year league. you get 25CYs to hand out to your players. with a max of 5 CYs. Players with CYs cannot be cut, as it is a hard cap. Anyone not receiving CYs on your roster are considered drafted for just that year only and go back into the draft. CYs are divided up before the regular season starts. So, Alfred Morris was not given CYs in my league last year. Keeps value in the draft each year. you are allowed one FRANCHISE TAG palyer per roster at the cost of your first round pick. You can only have one FT player on your roster at a time. So, if you have Stafford and Calvin running out of CYs, you can FT one of them, and lose the other back into the draft. This style also allows for lopsided trades. " I will trade you Foster (3CY) for R Bush(2CY), but you have to take Fitzpatricks 2CYs also in the trade"

    The 2013 Dynasty Q & A thread

in the zealots league,I made 5 trades Ths is what the main pieces of my roster looked. and then I will list my trades in order made, to see the transformation QB- Freeman/Weeden/Cousins RB- D Martin/A Morris/Benson/Wells/L Miller/James/ Hillman wr Calvin/Welker/Hilton/Colston/D Moore TE Tamme picks 1.6/1.9/1.11/2.6/2.7/2.10/2.11/3.6/4.6 Right now, we lose our last draft picks for players on taxi squad. I had Miller/James/Hillman I would of lost 2.11/3.6/4.6 First trade: GOT- Tony Gonzo GAVE- 3.6 This was before he announced his retirement and then return. I gambled and feel it paid off in a 1.5 TE bonus league Second trade: GOT 3.10 GAVE Kirk Cousins Third trade: GOT TE Kendricks, picks 1.10/4.10 GAVE L Miller actually got more value for this/ instead of losing 2nd,3rd, and 4th round picks for taxi, i moved one guy off, and the aquirement of the 4th, means I only lose my 2 fourth rounders now Fourth trade: GOT Flacco GAVE Freeman/D Moore/2.10 I didnt like the way Freeman melted down at the end of the year. Fifth trade: GOT Gore/Baldwin GAVE Colston/1.11 Wanted a 3rd starting RB and with my earliest pick at 1.6, couldnt be sure to get one thru the draft whew. So now, I look like this QB Flacco/Weeden RB Gore/Martin/Morris/James/Hillman/Wells/Benson WR Calvin/Welker/Hilton/Baldwiin TE Gonzo/Kendricks/Tamme picks 1.6/1.9/1.10/2.6/2.10/2.11/3.3/4.6/4.10

    The 2013 Dynasty Q & A thread

Traded in my dynasty league Gave up Andre Brown A Hernandez got Blount ( to handcuff Martin) Reggie bush I have Gates at TE for the year. hopfully pick up a TE in our draft. D Martin was my #1. But Benson was my #2 last year. thats how thin I was at RB. so I wanted a PPR back. I also have 4 picks in the first round, including pick 1.2
  13. what about when he was berating the stadium official during the black out? I mean, just being a total ###### nugget to the poor guy trying to do his job.

2013 ROOKIE SKILL POSITION FANTASY PROSPECTS

been watching lots of video lately. Just my opinions. Not like the Patriots are busting down the door for my notes. M. Ball- Has good balance. Speed and a nice juke move. Seems to ourrun his blocks, relying more on speed. which isnt good, since everyone in the NFL is fast. Has good N/S speed, but slows down some W/E J. Randle- plays to his size. He's big. Seems like he does the hitting instead of getting hit. willing to stand in and block, instead of ankle-diving. When he makes contact, has a good habit of going forward, not backwards. He doesnt dazzle, he just keeps make progress. His size and style makes him more likely to injury G Bernard- Has a nice spin move to avoid tackles, but if he gets hit, hes going down. Not much for fighting thru the tackle. Shoots out like a dart though. Great speed. He is an akle-diver though. Would like my RBs to take some shoulder to shoulder blocks sometimes. Z Stacy - I like that he fights for yards. Doesnt hit and stop. Continues to churn the legs in the piles. Good hands and good speed. and he follows his blocks really well. The thing I look for most when Im watching college RBs, is how well they follow their blocks and how much the improvise and rely on their speed. you can be fast in college, but in the NFL everyone is fast, and its alot more important to stick to scheme instead of freelance. My favorite thing to look for is, I like to see the RBs put their hands on their blockers backs. To me, that shows patience and waiting for blocks to develope. Instead of just speeding past your pulling lineman and racing to the corner for a 9 yd gain. Waiting for your blocks to develope usually leads to longer gains.
