superbowlbears 1 Posted September 26, 2018 What are everyone's thoughts on these two when they return from their suspension and injury? Is Edelman going to drop right back in where he left off now that the Pats picked up Gordon? Does Alshon remedy Philly's injury-ridden offense now that Wentz is back? I'm pretty stacked at WR (see in sig below) and was thinking about trading one of them off for a solid RB since I'm a bit thin at that position thanks to a couple early season injuries. What do you think either of these WRs are worth? Would you trade either of them away now or wait until they have had a decent outing before putting them on the block? polecatt 397 Posted September 26, 2018 Since you can play up to 4 WRs a week I would keep them. They're probably your 3rd and 4th WRs. You will need the depth. I think you're fine at RB and wouldn't get much of an upgrade in a trade. Alshon and Edelman will be about the same in value. They will each have some big games but be a little inconsistent. Both are about WR3 or flex plays. Edelman I think will be helped if Josh Gordon ends up working out since he and Edelman have totally different roles. They will compliment each other and both benefit. In PPr he could be a border line WR1. Alshon, if he's the key piece to get Philly and Wentz going he could be a solid WR2. He's probably the best overall WR but Philly likes to spread the ball around.
