Offered Antonio for Foster straight up

I may be a biased Texans fan, but I wouldn't do it. Hopkins may be getting all the hype right now, but Foster is what makes that offense go. There's not many players that get 20+ touches a game, not to mention all of the goal line carries. I also don't think you're as deep at RB as others suggest. The other team proposed the trade, he's the one struggling (thus more desperate), why not try to get him to throw in something extra?

    Gio for Landry?

I agree, stick with Gio. I'd only consider Jarvis in a PPR league.

    Drop Which QB?

Which of these QBs do I drop from my roster? Peyton Manning - do I dare? but he's actually the worst performer of the three. Sam Bradford - why do I always fall for the Chip Kelly hype? Matt Stafford - has he really turned things around?

why is the f... cant NFL players

Personally, I don't care if a player wants to celebrate or not. What bothers me is alot of fans, including the league FO, are a bit hypocritical when they want their players to show some emotion on the field... but turn around and criticize them when they celebrate.

    Thoughts on Andre Johnson?

Houston homer here. Three biggest factors holding AJ back right now: 1) Fitzpatrick... enough said. On the flip side, his poor performance may get Mallet on the field soon. He's a wild card, but can't be much worse than Fitz. 2) Hopkins is emerging as the #1. 3) The offense is adjusting slowly to O'Brien's system. I'd consider AJ a good buy-low candidate right now, especially in PPR leagues. I think after the Texans barely lose a winnable game against the Colts this Thursday, due to a poor showing by the offense, we'll see Mallet for the first time on Monday night against Pittsburgh. And as the players get more adjusted to O'Brien's system, their output will be better. Buy low now, but don't count on him to produce for another 2-3 weeks.

    Texan's RBs

Texans homer here. No real word on the status of Foster or Tate. My guess is at least one of them will play. I also expect Ray Graham to be brought up from the practice squad, so you can stash him just in case. Deji Karim is also a name they should consider checking out, but I would have guessed they'd already sign him if they were really interested. There were no practices this week, so that's why not much news have come from the Texans camp.

I pretty much agree with everything you say phillybear, you're a very rational fan. I agree, it was a combination of both... Seattle's D stepping up and Houston making idiotic decisions. I just can't stop thinking if Schaub doesn't make that idiotic throw, and simply ate the sack, then I'm pretty sure we're coming out with a W. On the last drive before OT, Schaub actually got a blow to the head twice (pictures below). The first one, his helmet even went flying off after the blow. The 2nd one would have instantly put us in field goal range. I was mad at the non-calls there, but not pissed. I was just thinking, "OK, refs letting them play." But when they made the call against Kareem Jackson in OT, which basically put the Seahawks in FG range, that's when I got really angry. If you're going to let them play, be fair about it on both sides. I really need to stop talking about this game, it's not helping my blood pressure. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/6789925/Schaub_hit2.png https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/6789925/schaub_hit1.png *It won't let me post pictures on here for some reason, so I just put links.

Houston Homer here. I'm still fuming after this nicely gift wrapped win to the Seahawks. A game has never bothered me so much. What a stupid throw, what a dumb play call, what dumb calls and miscalls by the refs, what a dumb fumble by Tate, and even screw Cushing for getting a concussion! But hey, let bygones be bygones. Let's do each other a favor and both of us win next week! I'm actually predicting a Houston win.

Houston homer here, and I must say, that's a pretty good analysis of the game. I see the same thing, a low scoring game, but I'm hoping for a different outcome of course. We did kick the Ravens' a**es last season, and we also beat the Broncos in their stadium... so we can beat the premiere teams. We do have problems, though, going up against the elite QBs that can read our defense and make accurate throws to beat our man coverage. Teams are struggling to run against us, so I'm hoping we'll be able to contain Lynch. Expect to see alot of blitzes up the middle from Cushing, with our ends simply playing contain to keep Wilson in the pocket. If you guys can pick up the blitz (which teams have been doing easily), then there will be lots of opportunities for big plays down the field as they'll mostly be in man coverage. This is where we're hoping Ed Reed will help our team, but he looked rusty last week. On offense, we do like to run the ball, then run it some more. But for this game, I'm actually expecting Kubiak to come out of the gates passing. I'd expect to see alot of bunch and stacked formations to beat Seattle's man coverage. I think it will be a tight close battle and whoever makes the 1 or 2 big plays in this game will win. I'm predicting whichever defense/special teams scores the most will win this game.

Ryan Clady Loss: Impact on Peyton?

Trade Vick while you still can. He's still playing too reckless for his small frame.

Bolts Screwed again, NFL admits it

They only lost by 3 because that's all the Texans needed in the end. If they needed a TD, they had plenty of time to go for one. Texans got some bad calls against them too btw. I also think the Cushing pick 6 was the most crucial part of the game. Chargers could have put the game away right there with at least a FG and killing some clock. Instead, it was tied up in a matter of seconds.
