Merry Christmas: I got Tavon Austin

Recommended Posts

those sound like hallmarks of a snobatorium not a "discussion" forum

outside this silly thread as you call it... there are threads from guys who claim that they have less than ten pts from their TE in three weeks, I'm pushing 20 at the half this week alone... someone locking up for Brandon boldin as a bench stash, career he has 2 NFL rushes... several looking for direction on A Bradshaw, who nobody liked when he was an actual starter and now is valueless and not even worth the threads we started on him... and other trial balloon threads about reaching or starting R Rice, benching Tom Brady, I can't find Charles clay in the RB projections....

so big deal, do I roll up on the clay thread and drop a bunch of elitist attitude because of some typo somewhere? doesn't 99% of the board, all uber FF Jedi, clearly know he is the only TE there since Dustin Keller was lost in pre season for the year?

if the board is suffering lately due to its usership, it might help to consider new users or certain threads are not the root cause. guys with a stick up their ass are usually more of an issue, those that feel their best contribution is to drive by and lob insults and attitudes like they own the place tends to drive off all users, usually in three posts or less.

If you're gonna put people down for posting about picking up potential bench stashes, maybe you should do some research & discover that Brandon Bolden isn't a rookie & has more than 2 career rushes in the NFL.

Telling us about your weekly add/drops & puffing out your chest doesn't add much to these boreds. People discussing potential WW gems before they break out is what adds value & substance.

I hope you started your Christmas present last night & the guy who dropped Austin is playing you. Please let us know when you drop him for AP because we're dying to hear about it.

I couldn't have put it better myself. This is dead on point! Please go read some of the posts that are out there about stashing Bolden----it is just flat out ridiculous. I won't name the poster of course, but his other threads are similar in fashion.

Where's the 'burst' and 'quickness' that we saw at the collegian level?
Could be the result of poor play calling...and why does Brian Schottenheimer still have a job in this league. That guy is simply HORRIBLE.

That was my first time watching the Rams and Tavon didn't look like anything special to me, if you're that little you better be amazingly quick and fast. Well if he is, I didn't see it.

Gonna drop him in the one league if picked him up in.

Ya, he was easy to tackle.

The 'elusiveness' and 'quickness' sure wasn't there last night.

Bradford looked amazingly bad, he is better than that right??? He couldn't hit a barn last night...

I think he really is that bad! its been what.. 3years? 4? I have thrown in the towell on all Rams for the time being..

Austin had me excited this year but he looks like he is either not being used correctly or he is just two small to beat NFL coverage

He probably just sucks. We kept giving him a pass because he showed promise his rookie year and his supporting cast was so awful. But now his supporting cast is better yet he still looks the same after regressing from his rookie year.

Bradford = Alex Smith. Dink & dunk, game manager. Wants to get rid of the ball as quickly as possible. Basically the opposite problem of QBs who hold on too long looking for big play. He is excellent in the red zone where short accurate passes are important. But for getting big chunks of yards, he just doesn't have it.

His offensive line is terrible and gave him no chance. Along with terrible play calling I don't put the blame on Bradford. He looks like he's trying but he had no time to find a receiver. All the weapons in the world don't matter when you're on your back a second after taking the snap.
