    Judge Judy vs EBAY SCAMMER

She did lose something that, to me, is a more important than the small amount of money she was paid from this show - Reputation. It all evens out in the end Oh, Just so we are all straight on this: Daughter > Mom + Fat Troll + Judy.

    TO in Philly?

Best game of the year. Philly fans are the worst fans to ###### with. Can't wait till Sunday!

Commish making roster changes after the fact?

Wait, were both Bryant and Gore already on his team and you're suspecting that he simply didn't start the pair? Or are you suspecting that he picked them up and started the pair? If he already had him on his squad, I have no idea why everyone is talking about the "Recent Transactions" section of the league.

Commish making roster changes after the fact?

I've been playing Yahoo for 4 years now. Was a commissioner for 1 year, and currently I'm using their "Paid" premium service - Yahoo Fantasy Football Plus. From what I know, after you set up your lineup and the game starts, you can no longer adjust your start / bench line up even if you're the commish. So yeah, you're losing your mind...... However, if you still think otherwise, contact Yahoo directly. They'll fix that ###### in no time if he did somehow get around what I described above.

how do you determine draft order

The old fashion way - # out of a hat...
  6. But, what exactly are the Geek Leagues? Since I started posting here, I've never used anything other than this board and the "A Little Help" board. I don't get what the Geek League is used for? Is there an explaination of it somewhere on this site?

    Waiver wire limitations....

Yes, if you see my other posts in this thread, I have suggested that another way to solve this issue LSU is having is to basically put ALL the players who were not picked from the draft on Waiver status for the entire season. This way, there will be no dispute on which players are picked up from the waiver since the system is regulated by priority status. What I was speaking of is for the leagues where the undrafted players are not always on "Waiver" status. For example, in Yahoo, when a player is dropped by the owner, the player is on "Waiver" for 2 days. After the 2 day period, it becomes a "Free Agent". At that point, it's available to all the owners at a first-come-first-serve basis.

    Waiver wire limitations....

I was under the impression that you think "Cutthroat" league has no place in Fantasy Football b/c certaiin people are busy on Sundays or what not.

    Waiver Wire Limits...

^^^ How are the rules defined? What happens when there are disagreements when the rules are written? Shouldn't the rule be agreed upon by everyone rather than just The Commissioner alone? That was basically my point for your original statement below:

    Waiver wire limitations....

Maybe I should have changed my tone a bit in my original reply. No disrespect was intended, so I hope there's no love loss here. However, if this matters at all, I work fulltime myself; been doing it for years actually. I am not undermining you guys' love for the sports, nor the importance of your job/family when compared to Fantasy Football. My point is simply this: The game is played on a Sunday. If you can't be in front of your computer to keep up with owners who snatch players up when injuries occur, then you shouldn't really place the blame on other people for doing so. What if Football games are played on Tuesdays, and you have that day off? Should you wait till other owners are free on Thursday just so you can pick up the next "Willie Parker"? What if someone else is not free on Thursday due to some type of emergency? Do you postpone it again? I agree with you on this. But, part of managing a team is to keep up with injuries and the depth charts for the teams your players are on. It has nothing to do with internet connection. Then again, if it's all about drafting the best roster, then why are you so worried about other ppl picking up players that were not drafted initially? Like I said, the way to solve your issue is to start a league of your own. Maybe in your current league this isn't an issue since you all have the same lifestyle on Sundays. My rebuttal is simply for the scenario you have made. It wasn't to you directly. P.S. - Not all computer people watch porn in their parents' basement. That's so................old school

How do you guys take care of injuries and such after week 8?

    Waiver Wire Limits...

Didn't even see the typo myself. It was purely unintensional. A league that is democratic means that all the rules are agreed by all the owners prior to the start of the season. If there are any discrepencies, these are brought up, discussed and voted by the owners. If issues come up during the middle of the season (Which seldom happens), it's discussed and, if necessary, voted once again by the league. The Commissioner should be there to simply uphold the rules and make sure that the league runs smoothly. Nothing should be decided by ONE person. People who are power crazy and wants to dictate all the rules by themselves without voting should try running for the President or something, so if they win, they can actually rule something that's meaningful.

Atheist.. or do you believe in Gado

In GADO we trust. Put it this way, if GADO's was in that motocycle that Ben Roethlisberger was in at the time of the accident. That car would have exploded when Samkon's face touches its grill. End of story.

    Waiver Wire Limits...

That's actually the first point which I came across where I think limitation is necessary. If you have someone in your league abusing the rule like that, by all means, limit the dumbass as an individual if you can. If not, I guess limit the whole league. However, with the league we are running, if you were to drop the same player you've picked up on the same day. The player that is dropped does not become a waiver player. It's an free agent (Which first come first serves still applies). For example, Player A is picked up at 12pm. If Player A is dropped anytime in between 12PM till 11:59PM, it can still be picked up by others. If it's dropped the next day, then there's a 2 day waiting period till player A is eligible for pick up again. KEEP IN MIND, realistically, it's not in the Owner's favor to do things like this. Because if the Owner's goal is to get Player D for Sunday's game, he's leaving Player D out in the open to be picked up by other Owners while he's doing the pickup & dropping. The rule is up for vote. It's just that he's been lobbying for people to vote on his side verbally without presenting the other side's argument. This topic was made, so I can gather some unbiased opinions from Fantasy Football fans out here. An official E-mail will be sent out by him within the next few days detailing the official reason for the changes. I'll post that on here when I receive it. Trust me, I'm not going down without putting up a fight.
