I am 2nd pick in a ten team league which gives a point per reception. Who do I take, Alexander (a lock for 1500 yds and 16 TDS) or Tomlinson who may rack up 70 catches this year?

i actually think SA will only get about 1400/12 this year... only Dickerson ever repeated 1800+ yd performances back-to-back, the rest were lucky to avg. 1300 the ensuing year...

His TD totals were awesome last year, but i don't think their situation will be as good this year. Jurevicious was a big loss for them (believe it or not) and Nate Burleson is not going to be able to fill those shoes. Plus the loss of Hutch, and the fact they are the team all the other NFC teams are gunning for and i think he'll be in an offense that isn't going to give him as many redzone chances.

I would probably take LT second, mostly because of the receiving #'s he will put up. I think Alexander will have more yards rushing, but a lot less receiving yards and receptions. LT could have problems though if Rivers struggles and defenses can solely focus on LT. Similar to McGahee in Buf.

I think SA is just ahead of LT this year because of Rivers.

 

Hell,I may take Larry Johnson in front of both of those guys??
