  1. dude, there was like 9 inches of rain on the ground. even the frogs were drownin'.
  2. That scrub Ryan is looking like the top overall pick in next year's NFL draft right now. Winning at VaTech in a monsoon on a Thursday night when youre a passing team is no easy task. Doesnt matter how you do it, so long as it gets done. Ryan made atleast $10mil in future earnings tonite.

    Randy Moss

Here's how Im looking at your dilemna. And this is just a humble and questionable opinion. But I think Id hang on to Moss. And while youre at it, go ahead and win your league. The only thing that could be better than Moss this year, is if you had Brady, too. Very questionable theory? For 3 or 4 straight years there have been significant offensive records broken. It actually started about 6 years ago with Marshall Faulk and his NFL record 26 TDs. But its continued with Priest Holmes and his 27TDs in '03. Then we saw Manning throw for 49TDs in '04. And Alexander with his 28TDs in '05. And last year of course LT2 scored 31TDs. This year? Brady? Moss? Both? For the record, Jerry Rice has the record for receiving TDs @22. I have a feeling that record is falling this year. Hang on to your boy, and enjoy watching the records fall. And spend that money wisely.

    Sit Marion Barber?

Jones got a flukey TD in that game, his only 1 of the season. But it took him 13 carries to get 52 yds and he had 1 catch for 11yds. Barber got 50yds on 8 carries and had 2 catches for 22yds. He had a better game, just didnt score. The fact that Barber hasnt scored a TD in 3 straight games makes me like him that much more. He's a proven TD scorer on a high scoring team likely in a winning situation. He's due and I like his chances.

    Sit Marion Barber?

I didnt like Barber going into the NE matchup because I didnt think Dallas would win the game. They got blown out, and the RBs didnt do much. Go figure. The Buffalo game was an aberration because Tony Romo was in a giving mood that night. 5 picks and a lost fumble tend to limit RB production. So, Id throw the results of those 2 games out the window regarding tomorrow's matchup.

    Sit Marion Barber?

I hope its the right call. Youll be in good shape tomorrow, and the rest of the year with him. He's going to get more and more action as the season wears on. Imo, with Jones out of the picture next year, Barber would be a top 5 lock in re-draft leagues. He's a durable, every down back with goalline skills. Not that it will help you tomorrow, but he's the most underutilized stud in the NFL, imo.

    Sit Marion Barber?

Just keep it simple. And lets go ahead and leave names like Thompson out of it. Barber is the best RB Dallas has. Noone at this point cares if he starts or not. Julius may get shut down. Barber will NOT. Dallas is coming off a brutal loss. Theyll be focused and how shall I put this?...trying 'real hard' Sunday against Minnesota. They have an elite O, both in yardage and scoring. None of this is a newsflash. But imo, the first way to determine a solid RB matchup, is to identify who will win the game, and if possible, by how much. No matchups are ever guarantees, but even a solid run D can be scored on. Dallas lost last week because their weakness, their passing D, was exposed. MN's passing O is about as non-existent as it gets in the NFL. And one dimensional teams are not beating Dallas right now. Dont overthink this. Id expect Dallas to win this game 38-17, scoring 5 TDs. And if I could start on a RB on a team that will score 5 TDs, Id go ahead and do it.

Do NOT bench a RB on a home team that will blow out their opponent. Dallas will win going away. This game will NOT be close. And Barber will be a factor. Neither a Dallas fan, nor a Barber owner.

    I'm being called a cheater

In response to the trade- I certainly dont view anything here as 'cheating', but Im a little surprised that so many people think this is a fair deal. Youre giving up Earnest Graham to get Barber?? Keeping it simple from a scoring standpoint, in viewing FFToday's scoring thru 7 weeks, Barber is ranked 6th. Graham? Who knows? and the QB comparison is close enough to almost be a wash. Rivers is averaging 16.6 and Eli 19. I think Eli was ranked 6th and Rivers 11th. And with Rivers now getting a legitimate deep/red zone threat in Chambers, Id argue that his 2nd half may be every bit as strong as Eli's. But to think giving up a nobody like Graham, and a slight upgrade at QB in Manning to get a potential TOP FIVE back is anywhere close to even is pretty funny. But nice trade. Give your bro a little something extra for Christmas this year.

What is everyone giving up to get S. Jax

For those who own Jackson, sell him for whatever you can get. For those trying to pick him up on the cheap, come to your senses. Jackson has a groin injury that needs about 3 or 4 months of natural healing time to recover from. Its not a pull, its a 40% tear. When or IF he gets back out there to give it a go, he's going to do one of 2 things. he's either going to get hammered behind that pathetic excuse of an Oline there in St. Louis, providing very little in the way of stats and very much in the way of . Or, he's going to re-injure that groin and be put on IR. Either way, its a no win situation. If youve already made the move to get him, here's a little early dose of the rest of your fantasy season . If you havent, sit tight and do the best you can with the 'other leading brand'. and no, I did not stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night. Either way, good luck.

For those of you that think the Pats run up the score,

yes, and I understand your take. I just think personally taking a knee there is almost more insulting to Dallas then trying to score on them. It would have been saying to Dallas, "Youre a pathetic bunch of losers, and we've beaten you like a drum all day, and we feel a little sorry for you, so we will take a knee here as to not make this any more painful". instead, they said, "youve been a worthy adversary. And while we're still actively competing in this football game, we genuinely hate you, and offer you no quarter. So, here, we're just gonna run the ball right at you. stop it if you can". Now I ask you which message would you prefer a team send you if you were the coach on the losing end of that situation?
