An alleged voter fraud scheme in which Skid Row’s homeless were being offered money and cigarettes in exchange for “false and forged signatures” on ballot petitions and registration documents has been uncovered in Los Angeles, prosecutors announced Tuesday.

 

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office says it is charging nine people in total with felony counts related to the offenses, which are said to have happened during the 2016 and 2018 election cycles.

 

“The defendants are accused of engaging in the solicitation of hundreds of false and/or forged signatures on state ballot petitions and voter registration forms by allegedly offering homeless people $1 and/or cigarettes for their participation,” a statement from the attorney’s office reads.

The same thing happened in AZ. Republican Doug Ducey won by over 300,000 votes but Sinema (D) defeated McSally ® by less than 31,000. People just don’t swing their Federal votes that often.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced Friday that the state has discovered 95,000 non-citizens on the voter rolls going back to 1996, 58,000 of whom have voted in at least one Texas election -- an announcement likely to raise fresh concerns about the prospect of voter fraud.

Texas has some of the toughest voter ID laws in the nation and has been one of the main battlegrounds in the Republican-led fight against alleged voter fraud. The office, in a statement, said that 33 people were prosecuted for voter fraud last year, and 97 were prosecuted between 2005-17. There are 16 million people in Texas registered to vote.

 

This is just non-citizens; NOT dead people on the voter rolls. Now imagine what's going on in California, New York, etc where there's next to nothing in regard to Voter ID.

Maybe they did. It was shut down due to Democratic run states not allowing records to be reviewed. Now that it's proven non-citizens can indeed register to vote, it's time for a mandatory national voter ID law to be implemented.
