Spring forward tonight

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have physical difficulties with this? If you listen to the radio it's potentially horrible etc..

Jesus it's an hour of sleep. Move on

I have problems adjusting to the way it changes the landscape. The spring isn't nearl as ba as the fall change. I think it's different in the Deep South. You get accustomed to it gradually. Sun comes up, sun goes down. When the sun all of a sudden goes down earlier than usual, it causes problems. People drive differently. Losing an hour of daylight sucks. Time is of the essence when you rely on daylight for your job.

Gaining an hour of sunlight is ok. Adjusting to it, imo, is not. Only time I was happy about it was when I played golf.

Takes me a few weeks to adjust.

I really dislike seeing the sun earlier, and then all of a sudden it goes back to the mornings being black again. Maybe it's just a mental thing, like dark mornings equals cold? Because I despise when the sun is in my eyes in the morning and it's hot as fvck

It depends how far north you live. In June it will be light out by 5am here. In December it's dark by 5pm. 4am and 4pm would suck if we just left it alone.

We aren't leaving it alone for a few snowflakes in the tundra

Still amazed at the higher amount of heart attacks which occur the first Monday following the time change.

That part of it is just bizzarre.
