DankNuggs 305 Posted June 17, 2017 I was between Woodland and Hoffman at the turn for my last pick. Hoffman was a 6th rd gem in the Arnold palmer or players for me. But he is so doofy I faded him
Filthy Fernadez 2,696 Posted June 17, 2017 Wow..............Justin Thomas shot 63 for 9 under round and U.S. Open record (-9 in a round).
Cruzer 1,992 Posted June 17, 2017 I'm alive! I just finally recovered from the worst 30 hour food poisoning bout in the history of ever - I was seriously in tears. I wouldn't wushu that on anyone. So, can I pick them or what? I managed to field a team of shiit in a pool where everyone and their dog is going birdie' inkers. But wow, what happened to our Open? The PGA is in August, not June.. Although EH would destroy even most single handicaps, it's no match for these guys. You can't have 70 yard fairways and pedestrian greens.. Justin Thomas is the new record holder in relation to par? Give me a break.
Fumbleweed 426 Posted June 17, 2017 Interesting side note: No one has followed up a great round in this tournament with anything of worth. Matsuyama and Reavie both playing poorly today. Fowler was poor yesterday after his great round.

cbfalcon 824 Posted June 18, 2017 I've tried the Vokey a few times.. Just too much weight in the head for me, I like them lighter. I'm a longtime Cleveland wedge guy. I also play a 54*. I seem to see eye to eye with you on equipment. Love the Z Star.....Glad I didn't add any weight after shortening the Driver, as lighter feels better to me...... And now I've turned negative on my 56 deg Vokey, primarily because it just feels much too heavy. I won't even use it on a full swing anymore due to the weight. My old 60 deg Callaway is much easier to swing, but that's too much loft for a lot of what needs to be done. So thinking of picking up a lighter wedge this week. Liked how the What Cleveland wedge you playing? I was handling the RTX Satin one today in the shop and it felt better than the Vokey, but still may have been a touch heavy. I was handling the RTX Satin one today in the shop and it felt better than the Vokey, but still may have been a touch heavy. The RTG Satin is beautiful. I play it as my LW: 58*, 10* bounce, 2* flat... My SW is an old faithful that I can't seem to get rid of: CG 15, Black, 54*, 14* bounce, 2* flat.

I'm going to go try out the Clevelans RTX, Cleveland RTX Cavity Back (more forgiveness), and maybe the Ping Glide. Going to go with a higher bounce, as while I'm a picker with my full shots, I tend to dig more with the half shots and when chipping.

patweisers44 697 Posted June 19, 2017 Side bet you cave on this? For the British Open I will offer the following: Whatever (reasonable) stakes you guys choose. My team against both of yours. I have to beat both of your teams to win, just one of yours has to beat mine for both of you to win the bet. Not a combined group of three from your two teams, just whoevers team is best. No charity for me, give it to KSB or Wonder, they could use a bump.
