Watch the vids on YouTube. People are driving right by them. Winds are up to hurricane force and 0 containment, and easily spreads with these winds. One is in riverside now where I have fam affected. I look elsewhere for any t's and p's or updates from those in the midst of it. It's why I don't hang here much, really to see if Ron has posted an update. RaiderHaters Revenge 3,577 Posted December 8, 2017 I am in Socal, not LA, I don't want any people or animals to be hurt, but the city itself can burn to hell for all I care as far as the Northern San Diego fire in Fallbrook, Oceanside, Bonsall, I know alot of people there and basically the entire city/cities are being evacuated My friend lives in a condo 2 blocks from the beach, no where near any vegetation and he was evac'd as far as myself I can see how this could happen, right now we have a consistent 60 mph wind, with 75 mph gusts quite regularly, and if it sparks up near me we have to run Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

The one in the Temecula area is probably the closest, but thats like 50 miles s/w from you? I know youre somewhere between Peris Lake and Palm Springs. Im about 50 miles south of the fires in north LA. Weve had a few smaller brush and residential fires around here over the last few days, but nothing major. giraldi02 470 Posted December 9, 2017 The Thomas fire in Ventura has been pretty crazy. Smokiness went about as far as northern San Luis Obispo county (about 155 miles north). Driving to Vegas currently. Much of the drive was hazy skies before hitting Barstow. Tinge of burning throughout southern CA. I feel bad for those living in the Thousand Oaks area.
