Cops encountered these 2 people from the room in question. One interesting note...appearently the cop had "Youre fuked" engraved on his AR.

edjr 5,554 Posted December 8, 2017 The detective investigating the shooting had agreed Shaver's movement was similar to reaching for a pistol, but has said it also looked as though Shaver was pulling up his loose-fitting basketball shorts that had fallen down as he was ordered to crawl toward officers. The investigator noted he did not see anything that would have prevented officers from simply handcuffing Shaver as he was on the floor. Brailsford's attorney Michael Piccarreta put an arm around his client after the verdict was read. "There are no winners in this case, but Mitch Brailsford had to make a split-second decision on a situation that he was trained to recognize as someone drawing a weapon and had one second to react," Piccarreta said. "He didn't want to harm Mr. Shaver... The circumstances that night that were presented led him to conclude that he was in danger. Try to make a decision in one second, life or death. It's pretty hard." wow. I have 0 faith in humanity. I really do. this is despicable. and he shot a white kid. makes it 100 times worse

Reality 2,710 Posted December 8, 2017 That's an execution, that piece of sh!t deserves to rot in prison. Who the fock could keep up with his ridiculous demands while having a gun point at them? Keep your legs crossed while getting to your knees? What the actual fock.. Absolutely disgusting actions by this cop, he has no business ever carrying a gun.

vuduchile 1,941 Posted December 8, 2017 Crawl towards me? Why not just walk up to them and cuff them where they lay? This cop was on some sorta humiliation power trip. If he hadnt shot him, he was going to demand a rim job.

As a father, there would have been absolutely no way anyone could have stopped me from taking out that officer myself. I'll just say that I only had seconds to make a decision. Seems to work for them.

I'd still gut him though and send the tape to his family.

tanatastic 2,061 Posted December 9, 2017 Not guilty, he was told not to put his hand back and he did. It was a reflex to fix his belt, but it could have been a concealed weapon. Maybe listen and that doesn’t happen. Also he’s white. Also him having “you’re effed” engraved on his gun is irrelevant, it’s just a slogan to look cool, stop analyzing it like it’s the davinci code. Guy was acquitted and he should have been. Guilty opens the can of worms. What if the next guy has a weapon? The cops get so conditioned to not care when a perp has his hands back they get caught unaware when a guy DOES have a weapon.

Guilty as hell. There is no way that little game of mother may I was police procedure. He was being a power tripping d!ck and ended up putting five into a kid lying facedown on the ground. And the inscription on his gun is irrelevant in this case yes. But it is an indication he never should have been given a badge and gun in the first place.

It's clear you no longer think they have to put their life on the line if you think they are justified for killing somebody for "possibly" being a threat. Its just too bad this loser isnt gonna serve any time. He wont be out any money either, the city will be paying. His only punishment will be reputation and loss of job prospects. Hopefully its enough to eat away at him, and he puts a bullet in his mouth in a few years.

See how long you last trying to talk to everyone moving their hands around their waist. The last thing every dead cop sees is someone reaching. In retrospect the kid was probably trying to pull up his pants but the cop is not taking that chance....nor should he.
