Trump won 4 states by 80,000 total votes and its been nonstop investigations, scandals and assclownery since then. Being an incumbent helps but I think this is a guy who has maxed out his support and made many more enemies in half a term.

We will see I guess.

Yep.  The Swamp clearly wants him out.  What's your point?   You do understand that a LOT of people voted for him not because they wanted him to but because they didn't want another POS Washington lifer, right?

My point is that Trumps re-election isnt nearly the slam dunk his supporters say it is, and not because of the Swamp. Its because he is deranged and cant control himself.

I don't think it's ever a slam dunk.  Polls are flawed.   Look at Hitlery.  She didn't think Trump had a chance in hell.  Pretty sure you didn't either.  I know Sho didn't.  He wept like a little girl that night.  It was awesome.  Worms almost offed himself.

I like how Trumpers have retreated into a Candyland reality of their own making. Polls are all wrong, any news that hurts the orange man is fake news, the Russian investigation is a witch hunt, every scandal is due to the Swamp, and a government mole is feeding you tidbits about Donalds war with the deep state via 4chan.

It's sure as hell not a slam dunk, it was a shock he won in the first place and I don't see how he improves on last time. I know, I sent BLS $150 worth of flashlights, not because I like Hillary, but because I thought he was giving away free money.

As for the 'deranged and can't control himself' bit Everyone kinda' sorta' already knew that going in.

I gotta tell you though, that's not to say he won't. Going home and talking to some of my longterm Democrat friends, one an elected Democrat official who won against the tide of Trump's Macomb County landslide , neither hates Trump.

Who you calling a Trumper?  I didn't vote for him and won't next time either.  I think he's a buffoon.  I also think pretty much everyone in Washington is just as bad or worse.  Funny how you talk about his supposedly horrible poll numbers.  Have you looked at congress'?  His approval rating is through the roof compared to those corrupt idiots.

I don't know. Depends who the Dems run. I'm not sure Trump carries Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin again. I definitely don't think it's a slam dunk. :dunno:

I had the impression a lot of people thought Trumps schtick was a bit of an act to get elected and once he got in he would surround himself with solid people and run the country like a business etc. Of anything the guy is even more deranged now that hes been elected and youre starting to see the act part was the phony middle class champion schtick.

Well, maybe somebody else. Speaking for myself, I was anticipating a sh*tshow that would play out similar to how it has.

How was it phony?  Economy is rolling along, Wages are up, he's actually creating jobs.  All he has to do is ask people if they want more minimum wage service jobs as Obama created or real jobs that he's been creating.  Economy is king.  There's a reason his approval among blacks has improved so much and it's not because they don't think he's a racist.

Walmart was starting people at $17-$25 in Central Florida a few weeks back depending on experience, that is less than a lot of jobs that require a degree in the same area. You can make it on your own with that kind of money in C. Florida. Economy is roaring.

Real wages actually declined in the past year for most workers. Unemployment had been trending down for years before Trump took office - not sure how you credit him with that trend. Hes really done nothing except run a $1 trillion deficit to hand CEOs a massive tax cut.

Someone mentioned PA/OH/FLA; no way Trump loses the first two.  I grew up there, I know those people.  They are Trump people.  Blue collar, they just want the opportunity to work an honest day for a livable wage.  They don't want socialist handouts and that message is lost on them.  80% of the people from my hometown would crawl over broken glass to re-elect Trump.  The dems have already maxed out their ballot stuffing in Philly, I don't see how they add significantly more votes.

I don't know as much about FLA so I'll defer to others.

He wont lose Florida either. Take out Miami and Florida is a die-hard Republican State. I see Trump stickers all day long. DeSantis pretty much has the governor race in the bag as well and Trump endorsed him. He easily wins Florida.

Trump running a net negative approval rating in PA, OH, MI, WI.

https://www.google.c...p-state-polling

Also worth noting of the 5 presidents who won the election while losing the popular vote, four of them were not re-elected.

Trump supporters remind me a little of Patriot fans on Feb. 3. :D

I'll add MI to my list; no way they vote for a socialist.  This all presumes a dem candidate who doesn't speak to them.  So far, crickets.

Wisconsin I also don't know well enough although I suspect it is similar with Milwaukee and Madison buying the dem pablum and the rest of the state voting red.  :dunno:
