bucky1235 0 Posted August 27, 2014 Taking over an 8-team (it is what it is) league keeper team that starts 2 QBs, 3 WR, 3 RB, and a WR/TE (so at least it makes up for it slightly with depth). No round penalties for keeping certain players. Just keep or don't keep. Can keep an unlimited # of years in a row. Can keep 3 players. I've narrowed down the choices to: Cam Newton Julio Jones Dez Bryant Demarco Murray Julius Thomas I will have the #2 overall pick. Dez/Julio and Demarco seem like no-brainers. An argument can be made for Julius Thomas/Cam as well. So, keep Dez, Julio Jones, and Demarco, and just grab a QB at #2 (possibly Cam depending on what happens with keepers), or hold onto Cam, Demarco, and one of Julio/Dez? In a 12-teamer, I think I keep Cam, for sure. But, in an 8 team league, is it all that necessary to keep Cam, even in a 2 QB league? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
49erGold 36 Posted August 27, 2014 I know it seems crazy but there is a lot of value in the positional players like you named but who is even left and what picks do you get 1st and 2nd round. My plan would be to dump Cam then get another QB round 1 and round 2 go position or if QB I like is there then that route. Cam is ok 1QB but nothing that I'd be that excited about and feel a lot of players are undervalued that might do fine. Wilson might do just as good... similar skill set better team/weapons.
