Pittsburgh cut James Harrison...

Recommended Posts

Once again great job my The Bill and Company. N

It's going to be great too see Harrison making a big sack on Big Ben too end the game.

Good for you J Harrison.

He just sign up for another ring.

I doubt he sees much of the field. Probably signed him for intel mostly

Would agree, but he might be in on that one big play, and I bet he would love too knock them out of the playoffs.

Would be a great ending.

He is very one dimensional and I think our oline has a wee bit experience with him

Remember the last time Harrison was gonna make us pay in Cincy so many years ago

Harrison was our # 5 outside linebacker and barely saw the field. Looked very robotic when in there. Love the guy but everyone hits the end of their career for a reason.

You will be reading articles of him sleeping in meetings and blowing off practice etc. teammates laughing when asked if he was a mentor.

He forced the Steelers hand just like Blount did. Shocking they both sign with NE

The revelation here is that you have been predicting Big Ben and the Steelers demise since the off season. Now you have the Steelers in the AFC championship.

Where did you go wrong?

They still haven't won anything yet, have they.

Only one team wins, and that's the Super Bowl winner.

I just want to see Harrison make one big play just one, and that's sacking Big Ben and watching Ben and the Steelers riding off into the sunset.

Besides since they can't play again this season unless it's in the AFC title game, would be that reason.

Steelers have the talent too make it, but not the coaching too win it.

They blew it for home field with that lost too the Patriots at home.

And please hold back that crap about how they where short handed, the final score says it all.

Just having some fun.

Does a game have too be taken serious.

Poking fun at the Steelers is easy, because they have very sensitive fans.

Case and point.

So, why would the Steelers have put up with all of that for so long? Seems like they have a culture that allows that sort of thing.

I think a guy like JH had a longer leash because of his tenure and legacy which is tarnished now.

Blount didnt. Neither did Bryant who was suspended.

Meanwhile NE invites these bad apples to their team immediately.....so

... because they don't act like bad apples when they get to NE. They always have a short leash with those players, which is why BB has said that we will see with Harrison. Both Bryant and Harrison were public in their displeasure and it lasted multiple weeks. I would think that the Steelers would want to deal with those issues more quickly. Maybe that is not Tomlin's style.

The Bill has them nervous and once again has out coached them.

Steelers have been out coached for years, they just have been loaded with talent.

But lack direction.

It was a no lose pick up, just one big play.

Harrison won't be a bad apple in NE because he will likely get to play. But he's a situation player at best. Not as good against the run as he used to be, and a flat out liability in coverage situations, he's a pass rusher only now, which NE is desperate for. But he's not going to do anything to fool Villanueva or any of the other Steelers offensive lineman at this point. He was becoming a distraction in the locker room and he asked for his release.

For all those that like to point out how shrewd Belicheat is with this pickup, anybody remember that the Steelers picked up Stevan Ridley just a week ago? These two teams don't need scouting on each other, they have all they need already. The biggest gain or loss for these teams is the Steelers loss of Shazier. Shazier was the one guy who had strength and speed to run stay with Gronk and not get tossed around at the line of scrimmage.

Reality is this: Steelers should have won (and arguably did win) the game against the Patriots and did so without Antonio Brown for 3/4 of the game, without potentially their best man-coverage corner (Haden) and without the heart of their defense in Shazier. Haden will be back for the potential rematch and Brown should be. And the Steelers know they can win.

Arguably they lost.

The score board is the best argument.

They where and have been continually out coached.

I think any fan could easily say that their team should have won, but the score board doesn't lie.

Now I'm not saying that Harrison will make a difference if any at all, but I would like too see him end the AFC title game with a sack of Big Ben, now that too me would be a great ending.

They can definitely win the rematch - no doubt about it.

Are you talking about the same KC that lost to the Giants? Pats have been champing at the bit to get revenge for opening night.

Are you talking same NE team that lost to MiAmi without converting a 3rd down? Thats a stupid argument

Its head to head that matters and NE always has trouble with KC in recent history. Baltimore always plays them real tough

Wouldn't it be crazy if harrison somehow sabotaged the Pats on behalf of the steelers. It's a one possession game. Steelers need a key first down and harrison goes and commits some penalty to give it to them and rips off his pats jersey WWE style to reveal a steelers jersey underneath and then joins the steelers on their sideline.

Yep. Then he can happily retire and he and his family can live out the rest of their lives in fear from all the death threats they will get from crazy sports fans.

For years Bartman's life was ruined because he reached for a foul ball.

Who would ever threaten JH

Anyone with a computer. Easiest way to grow your muscles. Also, you could ask who is mean enough to give death threats based on sports plays, but people do it.
