Mid July... time to think of Keepers

Hey all,

 

New season, new questions:

 

I'm in a 10 team keeper league, we're allowed to keep 3 players with no penalty.

 

I traded Edge James for Larry Johnson last year bc of LJ's huge upside, and I think it'll pay off...

 

SO LJ is a no brainer keeper...

 

My other thought is to keep Dom Davis... a Kubiak offense has yielded high producing RBs for a long time.

 

My third keeper is the tough one... do I keep CJ with the prospect of Palmer not being 100% or stay with 3 running backs and try to get a top tier WR or QB with my first pick? I also have Lamont Jordan and JWalk on my roster as well (a draft pick and a pick up off free agency late in the season respectively)

 

My real battle is between CJ and Lamont... opinions out there?

What are your starting roster requirements? When do you have to decide? Early speculation is that DD is still having knee problems - but it's early.

Keep Jordan over Dom....and then keep CJ

I personally would keep LJ, LJordan and CJ. I think Jordan will be better than DDavis because he catches just as many balls and stays healthy. He's also relatively young. CJ is a top 3 WR.

If Davis could stay healthy, I'd rank him in the top 5. Since that has never happened, I'd keep LJ, LJ, & CJ.

I agree. Lamont Jordan is a better option than Davis. Keep him with LJ and CJ.
