AintNoStoppinMeNow 68 Posted October 20, 2008 He said it wasnt serious yesterday but I just read online it COULD be a 1-2 week injury. I'm also waiting for more official word as a Jackson owner.
CookieG 4 Posted October 20, 2008 Best possible news guys -- Haslett saying he should be good-to-go versus NE.. MRI revealed nothing more than a mild strain. Good News for SJax Rotoworld Link
pitt_fan 0 Posted October 20, 2008 Rotoworld says that the MRI revealed a "slight" strain and the Haslett expects him to play this Sunday against the Pats. I just traded for him BEFORE this week's game....woohoo!! link: http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpag...891&id=1663

pitt_fan 0 Posted October 20, 2008 ok, as i said above, i just traded for sjax before this week but haven't handcuffed him yet. who's the handcuff - travis minor or pittman? i read that pittman is expected back this week, but which one would be the better handcuff? espn has pittman as #2 on the depth chart, but wasn't sure if that was accurate or not. CookieG 4 Posted October 20, 2008 I still dont understand why they had Jackson in the game when it was already over?!!! The good news is Haslett isn't Scott Linehan.. the bad news is he isn't Bill Walsh or Vince Lombardi either. Although, Lombardi would have had him running until his bone was sticking out of his skin. Ahh. the Dow closes up 300 points and my SJax afterglow has been restored. If this is the only "moment" this season.. I will enjoy it for what it is.

Jackson doesnt have a handcuff because his backups are not worthy.
coyote-kid 0 Posted October 20, 2008 I am thinking they should sit him for a week against that tough run D of NE. Does NE have a good run D. and poor secondary?
CookieG 4 Posted October 20, 2008 NE's D is older and in decline. The Rams need to win as many games as they can to get back in the playoffs hunt.. ergo, unless SJax is really hurt, they have to try to keep him in there.
