I have a hunch that Joe Mixon, will be the steal of the draft

Recommended Posts

Talent alone, everyone will be healthy, oline should improve. I think late 2nd will be a steal. Lets face it... he should be one of just a handful of Bell Cows

Why should the Oline be approved.

Did they make any changes.

There are more than a handful of bell cows now. Things have changed.

12 team league, what round would you draft Watson?

I think he will be drafted too early this season, lots of ff owners will draft him too early and pass up other good picks at wr and rb to grap him.

I mean Wentz was having a great season before he was hurt also, and I'm sure I can draft him probably two rounds later.

What do you think? M

I have a hunch that they have a mediocre to bottom tier offensive line and a QB who doesnt target the RB out of the backfield as often and only locks onto AJ Green. Mixon is gonna be a maddening RB3 to own. Let someone else deal with that.

Yeah. Last year in my auction league I was valuing Mixon at around 8% of cap. He went for more than double that. I ended up getting Hunt much cheaper and for 4 years on a cheaper contract. I hate Cincinnati for fantasy.

Adding Glenn at LT will be a huuuuuge upgrade for the their run game. I like Mixon as solid RB2 this year.

Add to it that they will probably spend their 1st and 2nd rd picks on OL..... I think they will run the ball much better this year.

He's a very good pick for a rb3.

I think he could be a good rb2.

Might be a steal as a rb3.

Can't see ever taking a QB that early.

Third round for a QB, there is no place to go but down for him, if he drops down from those 28 points per game last season, and I think he will what then?

Too lose out on Rbs and WRs when you can take another QB that can avg 22 or so points per game later, I think it's to much of a risk that high.

Thanks for the reply.

I road the Watson last year. Loved him when he was on the field. Have a feeling that he could be poison for a fantasy team. You draft a QB high and you normally have a deficiency somewhere else. I don't trust Watson's health. It creates the situation where you are cruising to the playoffs and then lose your QB with no solid waiver wire replacements.

As for Mixon, I can't trust him either. The OL is horrible. Even when he was getting work last year it was 18/62, 17/29, 15/51, 20/49. Gio is still there and will get some work. Also, as said above Lazors is not a running game guru. He is top 5 for passing inside the 5 yard line. If you can't move DLs off the ball then throwing it up to AJ is a solid option in close.

With him back that could also help the run game.
