potsie03 0 Posted July 16, 2006 I need some help deciding which players to protect in my keeper league. My starting lineup looks like this: QB: Matt Hasselbeck RB: Carnell Williams, Willis McGahee WR: Donald Driver, Santana Moss, Andre Johnson TE: Todd Heap I can protect 3 more from the following players: QB: Jake Plummer, Chris Simms, Charlie Frye RB: Kevin Jones, Willie Parker, Chris Brown, Ahman Green WR: Nate Burleson, Michael Clayton, Reggie Brown, Antonio Bryant TE: LJ Smith I am thinking that Willie Parker should be one and go with two receivers, since I pick second in the draft and can pick up a RB like Joseph Addai or Laurence Maroney since Bush will most likely be #1. Let me know what you think.
Frank the Tank 0 Posted July 16, 2006 Parker Green and Clayton (just because of the possibilities)

Great White Hope 0 Posted July 16, 2006 If you keep Jones, Parker and Green, you would have 5 starters at RB. You can always find WRs and QBs later.
m_ichen 0 Posted July 17, 2006 KJ and FWP. Those two aren't even debatable IMO. Will really solidify your RBs. 3rd one is up to opinion, but i'd bite on Reggie Brown. Unquestioned #1WR, Eagles management/coaches have nothing but good stuff to say about him, McNabb throwing to him. Yes Please . Plus he has talent and will not be another James Thrash / Todd Pinkston type loser.

cntblah 0 Posted July 18, 2006 QB: Jake Plummer, Chris Simms, Charlie Frye None of these QBs are worth keeping if there is any penalty for it (salary, draft pick, etc) RB: Kevin Jones, Willie Parker, Chris Brown, Ahman Green Kevin Jones and Willie Parker are good candidates WR: Nate Burleson, Michael Clayton, Reggie Brown, Antonio Bryant Reggie Brown - McNabb has to throw the ball to someone! TE: LJ Smith I can't imagine anyone keeping 1 TE, unless they are forced to, let alone TWO of them! I would strongly consider trading McGahee while you still might get something for him - his value is going to drop like JJ Arrington this season.
