BobSanders_33 127 Posted September 9, 2018 Even if he has a monster breakout game and becomes lead back and bellcow, timing is everything for redraft leagues. If that breakout game occurs in week 11 then I would argue it's not worth the stash. Not to mention you're gambling on a breakout that may never come. Players that break out in Week 11 win championships. Totally worth the stash. Also, he breaks out much sooner. Rex is not a lead back.

And Hill, a goal line back went out with a knee injury. I believe the Sony train is coming soon
Kent 228 Posted September 10, 2018 Hill done for the year. ACL. Sony moving up.
Kent 228 Posted September 12, 2018 Update. Burkhead now in concussion protocol. They are quickly running out of RBs in NE. How bad was the injury to Sony? Full sprain or just a tweak? Is he startable?
Byrdman5 104 Posted September 12, 2018 Update. Burkhead now in concussion protocol. They are quickly running out of RBs in NE. How bad was the injury to Sony? Full sprain or just a tweak? Is he startable? Menicus issue (Knee sprain Grade 1), had knee drained August 4th. He did the same thing in the SEC championship game. Then came back a month later to play in the national semifinal. Sony went 14-98 He hasn't had a full practice yet. I think he is flex worthy if he plays, but I wouldn't expect much against the Jags.
LoOnAtIk 75 Posted September 13, 2018 I think it's worthy to note that Michel has dealt with knee problems his entire football career. Tore his ACL in high school and injury predictor had him missing 3 games this year with a 60% chance of missing a game (already 100%)
LoOnAtIk 75 Posted September 16, 2018 Looks like he might be suiting up today with Burkhead a GTD looking like hes going to play also. Lets see.
Frozenbeernuts 1,652 Posted September 16, 2018 I tried getting Michel as an add in for a trade. The owner wouldnt make the trade specifically because i wanted Michel in there. I offered Barkley and Woods for Antonio and Michel

Kent 228 Posted September 16, 2018 I dont feel good about starting him this week. Hes benched.
LoOnAtIk 75 Posted September 18, 2018 He had one decent run where he lowered his shoulder and plowed over a guy. Other than that I didnt see much. Seems destined for RBBC at best.
cavern 70 Posted September 18, 2018 I don't like predicting the NE backfield, but he got more run than i would have guessed after injury. Not sure if I like him THIS week, but certainly he's trending up in my book
cdogge 17 Posted September 18, 2018 I think he's their guy going forward... Burkhead will get his here and there and it's anybody's guess when/where but Sony is their best back. He looked pretty good considering who they were playing
seafoam1 1,878 Posted September 18, 2018 Yeah, he was running for the first time in real game action since the injury. I'm sure mentally that takes a bit of time to get comfortable. If he's good to go for full practices this week I think that first game out was a success.

Not sure if I like him THIS week, but certainly he's trending up in my book Exactly............he did what you wanted to see in order to continue to hold him on a redraft roster slot. I watched the game while sorting through stock charts, but I thought he looked solid if unspectacular vs Jax. Flashes of physical talent were there, so were some tentative moments. He did not fumble or show any ball insecurity which is a huge positive but it was disappointing he did not run through full-speed on a wheel - type route the way he was expected to early in his game sequence. I was particularly disappointed in that fail because I believe the area he holds promise for surprising everybody to the upside is his passing game usage in the future...........I saw elite traits in college and while everybody assumes its James White from here to eternity in passing situations I give him an outside shot to shock the world there at some point. To be clear not likely this year, but you never know......... If he had been successful on that first target it would have been interesting to see if he had gotten even more run overall.
