3-3, Lost 3 Straight...Roster Advice?

Recommended Posts

14 team PPR league. Started 3-0 now 3-3. Lost Luck, DJ and Odell due to injury. I feel like my team is solid on paper despite the injuries but my team is reeling due to underperforming studs. Any advice on changes would be appreciated.

QB: Luck, Rivers, Tyrod (preemptive pickup, dropped Gallman for him yesterday)

RB: CJA, Blount, Mack

WR: Julio, Evans, Tyrell, Corey Davis

TE: Gronk

D: Seattle, Washington

K: Bryant

Drop list: Rivers, Washington

There isn't much on the WW, although Dion Lewis, Donta Foreman, Golladay and Sanu stand out. May try to bid big FAAB dollars on two of these guys.

Any advice on FA pickups or potential trades?

If you mixed and match my two teams it would have most of the players on your team and is why I am in the gutter in my league.

I would go after Golladay and Dion Lewis. Golladay should be on the field a lot more with Golden Tate out for a couple of weeks. Dion Lewis seems like he is either going to be traded which could increase his value as a true starting running back or the Patriots keep showcasing his talents to try and trade him and stuff his stat line.

I would drop Washington defense for sure and then maybe Corey Davis. It says he may have blow up potential down the stretch here, but he can't get to the field. I also would rather have Rivers than Tyrod on my team for the rest of the season. Tyrod has better match ups, but Rivers is a Vet and has tons of talent to throw to.

Great advice.

Just becarful of Golladay I have him stashed and since week one he hasn't played all that much.

I also own Ty Williams and he's been a big disappointment.

Good luck.

Got Dion Lewis and Sanu off waivers. Being offered McCoy and John Brown for Evans and Blount. Do it?

Evans is the best person In this trade so no. Don't do it. Shady isn't going to last and hasn't even produced that well. Tons of touches just not much production. John Brown is not going to be starting on your teams. Blount is the goal line back on a pretty good offense. Now that I say all of that this is a horrible trade for you!!!

How about McCoy and Hogan for Evans and Blount instead?

No I wouldn't do either deal.

Evans has produced at a high level going up against stiff competition. His schedule lightens up and I expect him to have a big second half unlike last year. DeSean Jackson helps him out a lot. Hogan is overvalued in my opinion as the Patriots have so many weapons. No dice.

Ended up nixing the deal and did another trade to improve at QB.

Trade: Evans, Tyrod and a 3rd rd pick

Receive: MThomas, Brees and a 6th

Updated roster with WW moves:

QB: Brees, Luck (will trade or drop)

RB: CJA, Blount, Mack, Dion Lewis

WR: Julio, MThomas, Corey Davis, Robert Woods, Sanu

TE: Gronk

D: Seattle

K: Bryant

Still need to make a move for a RB IMO. But thoughts on my current team? Will answer yours.
