    Which IND TE in ppr?

Tough call. The difference is slight, but even in PPR it's Allen IMO. With the very deep receiving core the Colts have, I expect to see them run a lot more 3WR, 1TE alignments this year. If they do run less 2TE sets, it's going to be Fleener coming off the field and not Allen. Allen is the better all around TE and the difference in block ability is huge. That will put him on the field more than Fleener - although with the oline he may be blocking instead of running routes. Regardless, as an Indy homer I expect him to get more opportunities and he'll be a slightly better play in PPR and non-PPR formats.

    Boom Herron any good?

Colts homer here: He impresses me everytime he gets a chance. He's a very quick and decisive runner - sees the hole, hits it with burst. I haven't seen a lot of wiggle and I'm not sure he has break away speed, but he looks to me like he could be a very good chain mover in this offense. As a colts fan I would like TRichs touches to go to him. Don't see him being a big fantasy option this year though unless there were injuries to both TRich and Bradshaw. Just too many options on offense Colts.
  3. Don't sleep on Donte Moncrief with the Colts. He's slowly and quietly starting to get more snaps than the bust that is Hakeem Nicks. He looks dynamic when he has played, but the Colts have a lot of options right now. Next year Nicks is gone and Wayne will be 36. He will be a viable fantasy option next year (at a minimum) and the following year I think he will be a beast. Luck throwing him the ball, with TY on the otherside? He's defenitly a guy I'm stashing for the future.

    Ahmad Bradshaw to the Colts

The colts line sucked. Ballard was running pretty damn good towards the end of the year considering how poor the line was. He had problems with vision and decisiveness early, but made significant improvements as the year went on. He was actually pretty good towards then end of closing out games (the few they led in late). I'm not convinced AB is a better runner than VB at this point. AB is definetly better in the pass game as a blocker and receiver though. Not sure who starts, but barring injury it will likely be near a 50/50 split for touches. I'd guess that VB starts and AB is kept healthy and fresh most of the season and used a lot on 3rd down, but not exclusively as a 3rd down back. Either way it will be a close split.

    RGIII

My point is that RGIII struggled relative to other QBs. He has great efficiency number because he is throwing completely safe passes the majority of the time. He has a very high percentage of his passes near the LOS. On his deep passes, he has a very high percentage that comes off PA. I don't say that as a knock on him - its what he was asked to do and it was effective. But anyone that believes he has already shown he is a great pocket passer based on his numbers in that offense will likely be surprised. And I agree with you that he may get killed in the pocket as well. The Skins need to invest heavily in pass protection and drill into his head to run very selectively and throw the damn ball away when necessary. The guy isn't built to get hit a lot. He's obviously tough, but that's probably going to be a negative for his career longevity. If what we've seen from the Shanahans is any indication of what we can expect in the future, I'd bet we are watching a 30 for 30 on what his career could have been if it wasn't for the injuries. I think shanny expects to use him up and throw him away like one of his RBs. Explains why they spent a draft pick on cousins.

    RGIII

His numbers in known passing situations. RGIII struggled all year in 3rd and long situations where he didn't have the benefit of throwing short or to wide open receivers off play action. I believe he has the ability to become a pocket passer - very intelligent, hard worker, strong arm. But he has never been asked to do it. If he is next year, he will struggle for awhile.

Who's the no.2 WR on the Colts?

Avery. Hilton is the slot. Avery got hurt late in this game and Hilton slid to #2 with Lavon Brazil filling in as #3. The problem with Avery is that he mainly gets open on go routes and he and Luck havent really connected on them often. Pending the injury Avery is still probably the better guy to have - although only slightly. Really the guy to watch for the Colts is TE Dwayne Allen. The Colts typically run two TEs and he and Luck are building some good chemistry while Fleener is out.

    Anthony Gonzo out 2-6 weeks?

From an Indy fan - I believe Garcon will start in Gonzo's spot. Collie is better suited for the slot and considering he's a rook, I don't see the team asking him to learn the outside as well. Gracon is better suited for the outside, has more experience on the outside, and I believe was used there regularly in training camp and preseason. Garcon had a case of the drops in preaseason, but I like his physical tools. I may take a flyer on Garcon, but Clark is the most likely to benefit from Gonzo's injury.

    11 team league

Had the same thing this year in one of my leagues. We are having only one division and you play everyone twice. That means we will have 20 games over 13 weeks w/ 7 doubler headers.

Getting really ticked off with Dungy......

Rhodes will continue to get carries simply because the colts want to make sure Addai is fresh and healthy when the playoffs start. Being a rookie he is not used to playing 16+ games in a season and actually never even carried the entire load for a full college season. IMO, the colts will remain RBBC throughtout the season, but Addai will begin to carry more of the load. He will be the starter, although still splitting some carries, by the last 1/4 of the regular season. You are correct that Rhodes sucks - Addai is simply better at every single aspect of the game.

    COLSTON or REGGIE WILLIAMS

Very surprising that either of these players is available. I have both on my roster and the easy answer is Colston. Brees is a better QB than leftwich and he appears to love Colston. Brees really locked into Gates in SD and it appears he is doing the same in NO with Colston. I also do not trust leftwich and the Jags offence to consistanatly be a threat.

rookie of the year goes to....

Rhodes is awful, IMO. He doesn't use / read is blocks well, is indecisive, and doesn't have any explosion. Addai looks an awful lot like Edge, IMO. He has a maturity to his running style - he is patient with his blocks, yet he is decisive when he sees a hole. He has great hands and is a very good blocker. If you put Addai in a #32 jersey, I don't believe anyone in Indy would notice edge is gone. I don't say that lightly. Edge was my favorite Colt, and I thought they where stupid for not trying harder to resign him. I can't remember the stat exactly, but the colts won something like 75% of the games edge played in and were far below .500 in the games he missed. That's not someone that is easily replaced. But as a huge edge fan and a die-hard colts fan, I believe Addai will fill the hole Edge left - just like Edge filled the unfillable hole that Marshal Faulk left.

rookie of the year goes to....

Dwight Freeney did not start for the colts until week 9. He was the 11th pick in the draft and became a pro bowler the next year. This was for a defensive team that desperatly needed any help it could get. Tony Dungy is bringing him along slowly - just like he did Freeney. There is absolutley no reason for them to give him 25 -30 carries a game right now. They will keep him fresh and let him learn slowly. Obviously this is all my opinion. If I thought I could get Addai I would do it now. Especially in any keeper or dynasty league. Again, just my opionion.

rookie of the year goes to....

I disagree that the Colts o-line is better than NE - at run blocking anyway. Maroney will probably have better overall numbers and possibly even be the better football player, but Addai will be the unquestioned starter for one of the best offensive teams in the league. If Maroney was the unquestioned starter in NE, I think he would be the obvious choice. Addai will be the unquestioned starter by the FF playoffs. Partly because he looks really good and partly because Rhodes plain sucks. That makes him slightly more valuable than Maroney, IMO. At least for any team that can make the playoffs while Addai splits carries for a few more weeks. For reference I am a Colts homer, but I don't own either player. I'd love to have either one. I do have Colston though
