  1. As an admitted unrepentant pimp for the WFFL, I am already recruiting for the league next year. Why? Well, come next July & August this forum will have posts for leagues that you can’t really see in action as they actually play their season. Now I know that the vast majority of those will be GREAT leagues. But still, you will be kind of joining blind...On the other hand, the WFFL is still on-going and just heading into its Playoffs. The season ends with the championship game on NFL Superbowl Sunday. You’ve got a chance to watch the WFFL, “live”, right now. You can see everything that’s happened in the WFFL all year – before RealTimeSports cleans everything out at the end of February. Both the good & the bad are totally exposed for your review. We also have a separate post-season league (the “WPOL”) for those who do not make the WFFL playoffs, where they may compete for a free entry next year However, a word of warning in the interest of full disclosure. Some owners love the WFFL format, others do not. It is similar to the “One-And-Done” set-up, except that we play head-to-head games & you can start any player every week. It’s that simple. In fact, here’s a couple comments from WFFL owners: “...the best commish I’ve seen...” “This is the dumbest league I’ve ever been in!” I swear, those are real “testimonials” from WFFL owners. In fairness, again, I would only say that the first owner made the Playoffs & the second didn’t. lol Anyway, just click on the links below and you can judge for yourself whether the WFFL might be your cup-of-tea or not. THEN, if you would like to be placed on a “Waiting List” to consider joining as openings develop (as they inevitably will in a 50-team league like this), just either e-mail me. There’s no commitment now. I’ll just put you on the list and contact you about your interest next year BEFORE public recruiting begins. Thanks for taking the time to read through this unsolicited junk mail. …WFFL Commish Barrister. 4. 8 spots remain, with only 10 days until league cut-off date. I hope you'll pay us a visit and give me a buzz if you like what you see and want in on the fun. 5. Since the HOF pre-season game, we've added 13 new owners to the ranks of the WFFL....Thanks to those who've joined our ranks so far....That leaves only 16 open spots available....Now's the time to add this fun, competitive league to those you really want to be in this year. --------- League Access for Guests: http://www.rtsports.com/fantasy-football-league/12265 For even more Info: http://forums.rtsports.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=15306
  6. SKINS 30, COLTS 14....I'm a ff addict and maybe a little sick, but I watched the whole game and thoroughly enjoyed it. Colt Brennan's either a future HOFer or another Ryan Leaf. Anyway, now that the pre-season's here, we've picked up 4 new owners in the WFFL. There's still plenty of spots available for only 10 smackers. We'd love to have you on board. Give it some thought while your watching this week's games. Check out the WFFL on the Guess Access link below for the current goings-on. In the words of that insufferable pitchman on TV: "Please Try Our Product!" --------- League Access for Guests: http://www.rtsports.com/fantasy-football-league/12265 For even more Info: http://forums.rtsports.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=15306
  7. Thanks to everyone who's taken a look at our league and responded. FYI, the WFFL can have up to 50 teams, which makes for a pretty nice return on investment for payouts on a $10 league fee. As of today we have 21 reserved spots with 29 still available. Give us a look. Thanks again for your interest. --WFFL Commish Barrister (E-Mail: donkatfam@aol.com) _________________ League Access for Guests: http://www.rtsports.com/fantasy-football-league/12265 For even more Info: http://forums.rtsports.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=15306
  8. A week from today it’s the COLTS vs REDSKINS. Brett Favre will be starting for Washington. ....Well, with the wackiness going on in Frozen Tundra Country, it could happen. You know what that means. Yes, the NFL season is almost here and it’s time for you to choose those ffl’s you’re going to be in. Consider the WFFL: 1. It’s a “player match-up” format where you decide which NFL players to start every week, kind of like the WCOFF. The league is on the RealTime Fantasy Sports site. 2. You play head-to-head doubleheaders throughout the regular NFL season, and are guaranteed to get to play through the Superbowl, whether or not you make the WFFL Playoffs. 3. The cost is a whopping $10.00, payable by check, money order, or PayPal. 4. The WFFL is a well established league, heading into it’s 7th season on RTS. 5. The Commish (a humble, unassuming sort), is a forum vet with a track record of commishing his home league for the last 13 years. 6. You can pit your skills against many of the RTS forums regulars who are in the league. 7. No prior experience is necessary; newcomers to the WFFL have won the last 3 seasons. 8. Prizes go to the league champ, runner-up, and NFL pick ‘em winner. 9. The message board is one of the most fun and active around. Have you ever been in a league where a last second trade, injury, or clique cost you the championship or a playoff spot? That can’t happen in the WFFL. You rise or fall based on your own weekly match-up skills – no excuses. For more info or to sign up, just e-mail me at donkatfam@aol.com or post here or on the RTS thread below. You owe it to yourself to at least visit the WFFL league site and browse around. I hope you’ll like what you see and decide to join in the fun. Thank you for your attention and consideration. --WFFL Commish Barrister (E-Mail: donkatfam@aol.com) _________________ League Access for Guests: http://www.rtsports.com/fantasy-football-league/12265 For more Info: http://forums.rtsports.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=15306
