  1. I have been playing fantasy football for 10 years now, and want to take the step up to a dynasty league. I have created a league on myfantasyleague.com, and have completed some of the start up steps. I am looking for a co-commish who has some experience starting and running dynasty leagues. As well, looking for 7-8 team owners. It will be a 12 team league, with a 20-25 man roster, with positions to look something like: QB - 1 RB - 2 WR/TE - 3 Flex - 1 Kicker - 1 Def/ST - 1 DL - 1 LB - 1 DB - 1 Scoring will be: PPR All TD's - 6 2 pt conversion (passing/rush/rec) - 2 INT - -2 1 pt for ea. 25 yards passing 1 pt for ea. 10 yards rushing/rec Fumble lost - -2 FG - 3 XP - 1 INT Caught - 3 Pass Def - 1 Tackle - have at 1 now, but might change to 0.5 Sack - 3 Safety - 2 Nothing is written in stone, I have an open mind to any changes. If you are interested, please respond here, or contact me at rlkeough@gmail.com

Dwayne Bowe: WR, Kansas City Chiefs

I see Bowe stepping up...marginally. There were lots of good points made, both positively and negatively. Bowe will get his looks, and as stated...the majority of the red zone looks through the air. Who was the offensive coordinator responsible for the 2nd ranked pass attack in the league last year? Haley. He knows how to move the ball through the air, and although Bowe, Engram and Copper aren't Fitz, Boldin and Breaston, they are serviceable. It seems as though Cassel is thought highly of by many, so he has to be a step up from Thigpen. Bowe finishes with 100/1200/10, putting him as a low end WR1, high end WR2.
  3. I am interested in joining a dynasty league, but there's no $$$ involved? Is there any league fees for the winner? A dynasty is a lot of work for not having a pay-off for the winner.

    Dynasty Leagues

Thanks...after I posted the question, I researched and found them to be the best...already have a league started.

    Dynasty Leagues

I am in the process of starting a dynasty league but was wondering if anyone could recommend the best site to manage the league? I need one that could be totally molded to personal settings that is easy to use. Any recommendations?

    Early Player Ranking

I like the depth at RB this year. I have always drafted a QB late, stocking up on RB's and WR's early, but I think some good value will be had in later rounds this year. I put Mendenhall at 20. I know he is totally unproven, getting hurt week 4, playing in basically 2 games, but I see him as a nice sleeper. Don't get me wrong, I won't be drafting him where I have him ranked...might take a late round flier on him. PPR Jones-Drew - tied with LT for most TD's since 2006 with Taylor taking touches...20 TD's in 2009? ADP - stud...not great in PPR, but his number's make up for it Forte - will be Cutler's safety valve...great hands/PPR stud Turner - great numbers as the #1 last year...offense not going to stall DeAngelo - as said above, Carolina flat out like to run...and can LT2 - chip on his shoulder Westbrook - every year we say it's the year he drops off...hasn't happened yet, has to go top 7 til he does Barber - Jerry Jones will make sure the boys score...see Barber getting his SJax - needs to play a full season...but nice PPG in PPR Chris Johnson - great break away speed...and Tennessee loves to run Gore - 2006 numbers...312/1695/8/ - 61/485/1...see 250/1500/8 - 40/250/3 Jacobs - beast if he can stay on the field Bush - PPR beast if he can stay on the field...I wouldn't draft him top 20 Ronnie Brown - Parcell's knows how to build a team...someone needs to score Addai - if he can get healthy...he still has Peyton K Smith - good talent...sleeper Slaton - will be in RBBC...great in PPR last year Portis - still has a year or two left JStew - will get 200/900/8 Mendenhall - see Parker getting hurt and Mendenhall taking over and doing well 20+ Larry Johnson - could have put him higher...motivated Grant - the potential is there...scares me though Thomas - will get his touches in great offense in NO...goal line back Wells - RBBC with Hightower? Great skill set in great O Moreno - who knows what McDaniels will do next?...at least the Rat is out of Denver (or is he) D Ward - gonna be interesting to see what he does in TB McFadden - Oak need to step it up Benson - with healthy Palmer and Ocho being the true #1, maybe they regain old form? late round flier
  7. This is such a touch week to play FF. The main thing I look at is what teams are playing for, and you know the Pats are playing for A LOT. They lost their star QB in the first 30 mins of the year, and are still one win and some help from the playoffs. I think Cassel will continue his great play and do well for you. Shincoe could be a good start, but I spot started him this year and came up lame. Whenever I started him, he shat the bed. So I will not turn around and tell you to start him. Having said that, he was the go to guy last week, and it seems Jackson has faith in him, so he could be solid. I'd also watch out for P. Thomas and even Morris. If Barber starts, he will be worth a spot. As stated above, I go with teams playing for something, and Dallas certainly is. But watch the injury report. I also think Evans could have a good game if Edwards starts. I also read somewhere that Dungy said they will play this like any other game. Look into that and start Peyton if so. Best Week 17 scrub RB to play?

I think Jordan could beba good start, but depending on Belichek's antics to win you the championship could be risky. I actaully like Rhodes this week, especially if Addai is out. Tenn is not the same without Haynesworth and KVB. Is Norwood available? I think he will go off against the Rams. Atlanta will get Turner a few reps, but Norwood will get the majority. Can Portis be trusted this week?

Check to see if Portis is starting, and if he is, start him. If not, I like Rhodes against Tenn if Addai is out again. They aren't the same team without Haynesworth and KVB. LJ will be a solid start too, you got some good choices. Please see mine... http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=337434

    wk 17 championship starters help

This is why I hate leagues that have their Superbowls on week 17...benching Wayne and Boldin for Higgins? I would go Brown over Portis for sure. Clark over Martin. Do some research and see who is a better start in Wayne and Boldin and start them over Higgins. Can't trust an Oakland WR to win you the Championship. Championship game help....

I think I would go either Rhodes or Addai, in that order, and Norwood. I think Atl will get Turner a few reps, then let Norwood run wild on the Rams. Would consider Bradshaw too, with the Giants locking up home field, they will probably rest Jacobs. If Bradshaw is healthy, could have a strong day. Moore or Coles is a tough one. Moore and Coles have both been cold the past few weeks. Would probably go with Moore just for upside, but that's a tough one, I might search the WW for a replacement. Miami's D has been strong as late, but the Rams always turn the ball over. I'd go with Miami. Please see mine... http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=337434

    Week 17 defense/special teams dilemma

I would go with Baltimore for sure. They will play like any other week, and although GB will probably have a good week, you have to roll with Balt. Indy's D scored 14 points against Jax last week, and the Ravens D is much stronger then Indy's. Thanks for answering mine... http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=337434

    Keeper Question

I'm in a 12 team, one player keeper league, PPR, all TD's are 6pts, 1 pt/20 yds rushing/rec'ing, 1 pt/50 yds passing. On my roster I have: Steven Jackson - has been my keeper for the past 2 years, but has disappointed both years, but I feel he has the most upside. Drew Brees - was second in my league in total fantasy points (Rivers - 236 Brees - 233) Andre Johnson - was second in my league in total fantasy points for receivers (Fitz - 211 AJ - 207) I finished first in the regualr season, and lost the finals by a few points yesterday. (Fock U AJ) I am having a hard time choosing, I have my thoughts, but I will let you guys tell me your's first. I will respond to your's.

    Lynch

Jackson had a long pass down to the 3 and they tried to get it in with Omon? Is Lynch done for the day, reinjure his shoulder or due to the "not feeling well."
