Recommended Posts

This is what happens when you are a good guy but are bombarded daily with the shiat spewing CNN. Eventually you are driven to suicide.

At the bottom of the article you can choose a smiley face. :dunno:

Finally I'm able to let the world know that I am unmoved by what I just read.

as I recall, the guy had fairly recently found a new love. And I know he has a girl is probably a young teenager by now that he adores.

Strange, I saw for the last couple weeks on FB a quote by him saying that he wouldn't mind poisoning the Presidents food if he had the chance to cook for him. Maybe this is related one way or another. I know that was very fashionable during the Obama years.

Politics aside, I really enjoyed his commentary on food and travel. He had a gift with the written word.

Will be missed, RIP

He was really good at what he did. Very interesting personality. :(

He had hardcore drug addiction in his early life that he overcame, but he drank like a fish on those shows. I always wondered if that was a good thing for an addict to do.

Sometimes they report suicide when we find out overdose. :dunno:

Kitchen Confidential was an amazing book that changed the restaurant industry. Bourdain was a fantastic writer, even his fiction was outstanding.

One of the things I like best about him other than being a deeper thinker than most was the way he ripped on pretty much all of the Food Network. Especially dipshitz like Guy Fieri and Rachael Ray.

Like a lot of people with depression, he had a wicked dry sense of humor.

Asia Argento.

She was one of the first to accuse Weinstein of rape or something.

Bourdain has recently been pretty vocal about it. Hed gotten into some twatter wars with other celebs.

Not sure if they were still together as of yesterday.

Some wacked out rock star or pilled up fashion designer offs themselves, doesn't surprise me.

But this guy? Wow, yea - he surprised me.

My cousin is a chef in BMore and I know she worked at the same restaurant Bourdain talked about in KC at the same time he did. I asked her about him and she had no idea who Anthony Bourdain was until I told her about what he wrote in the book. She said, "you mean Crazy Tony, that guy was nuts."

He always had that New York.. best in the world schmarm about him, but I really dug watching his show.

He did always seem to have an underlying uhmm.. darkness maybe?

Sucks for his family...

I have a hard time sympathizing with people who commit suicide that leave behind young children. Same goes for that hand bag lady who offed herself a couple days ago. Both left behind young children who themselves will now need therapy.

Bunch of selfish fucks.

Agree, it’s a chicken shat move. It’s one thing if you are alone, poor, given up and worthless. When you are a rich celebrity it’s hard to find sympathy. What the hell is there to be depressed about? Just quit your job and disappear if you need a change, you, have the money to do whatever you want.

I wasn't even looking for this. I stumbled across it in the context of something completely unrelated. But I thought some you guys might want to read it. It is most likely the last article that Anthony Bourdain ever wrote. Just a few days ago.
