City you've visited with the best food

Recommended Posts

Well I'll be going to all three in September. Venice, Florence, and Rome. So I'll get to try all that delicious pasta and drink some excellent wine

three of my favorite things to do at night:

1. enjoying wine at the palazzos

2. wine bar hopping. a glass or two plus chiccetti (small plates like tapas)

3. street musicians/arists

get yourself a guide or map of the wine bars in venice

Philly is an awesome food town, there's just no dominant cuisine here. Same with NYC.

I agree. They get a bad rap as being a cheesesteak town only but they are not. So much more then that.

Nawlins for sure. My first introduction to alligator, best thing I've ever tasted (other then your mom of course).

I had alligator boudin balls Friday night. Possibly the best appetizer I've ever had.

The Shrimp and Alligator Sausage Cheesecake at Jacques-Imo's is probably the best appetizer I've ever had. Follow that up with their BBQ Shrimp and/or the Shrimp Étouffée....none of those taste the same.
