Wife and I watched first episode. Was ok, will see if it gets better in the next few episodes.

One thing that distracted me was that the diversity police struck again. One of the Robinson kids is now a black girl. Was trying to pick up clues as to whether she was from a previous marriage for one of the parents or what.

Oh, and they decided to make Dr. Smith a woman. Surprised they had the balls to keep her white. Will probably turn out to be LGBT to satisfy that checkbox.

Netflix is really pumping these things out. Its no longer where you try to watch most of them. Just the select few that interest you, like traditional tv

Indeed. What happens is they got popular and went from dozens of hopeful writers and producers pitching shows to them weekly to what I now imagine is an endless line of them. Every writer and their mother wants their show on Netflix. Before their only option was to schlep their way through the tired old fox/abc etc networks.

This...they also seem to get one new movie worth checking out per month, that's it.

Theyre getting into making movies too. Far cheaper to make the content than to license it from someone else, especially now with all the competition in streaming services

They are much better at tv for whatever reason. Youd think theyd have tons of good indie filmmakers to pick from but apparently not

Yeah because they signed unfunny talent. Like Adam Sandler.

They made some movie with Brad Pitt as a general. It sucked. The Outsider with Jared Leto, it sucked. The Titan with Sam Worthington, it sucked. The end was really focking stupid.
