Mild. I try to run my car an extra few minutes every day to help along. If everyone did that we could accelarate global warming

It snowed here (Western NY) like a bastard for a few days late November/early December. And we got a quick storm on Christmas Eve. Other then that, nothing. I went golfing this past weekend. I'm not complaining.

The past two weeks were as close to winter as we get in Phoenix -- highs in the 40s/50s, lows below freezing. Sucked because we had family in town.

Yeah I never want to speak up about it. We will pay for it in february no doubt.

One of the more mild winters in a while thus far.

I love El Nino

I hadn't heard if we were officially in El Nino, but it sure seems like it based on weather here in AZ.

During an El Niño winter, the Pacific jet stream can stay in the lower half of the country, allowing for wetter than usual weather in cities like Los Angeles, New Orleans, and those in southern Texas. Meanwhile, cities like Portland and Seattle could be drier than normal, and the large cities on the eastern seaboard—think New York, DC, and Boston—are often warmer than average during an El Niño year.

Out here, it has been a normal winter. Drops to 30's at night through the morning, then tops around mid 40's to mid 50's. Getting some rain.

We were just up in Lake Tahoe and got a decent accumulation of snow. Very nice powder day on the mountain. Had to drive back yesterday instead of Sunday.

It’s in the 60s here in San Diego which means people freak out and blindfold themselves while they drive. Rained here and there for a couple days. We get about a month of real winter before fake winter sets in.

You like it there dude? I have a brother in the La Jolla area. It's gotta be some of the most consistent weather in the world. No? I prefer the change of seasons myself.

Your brother must be loaded. I went to La Jollo when I visited SD. Beautiful. One of the prettiest suburbs in all of America. Reminded me of Rocket Power.

Its for sure the best place in California imo, I’ve lived all over the state. It’s better than LA for damn sure. Toss up with Sonoma county since people who prefer country would def prefer that area and it is a great place to live. But for me I like SD the best.

He's not super loaded but he and his wife do well. Smart with their money. I remember his wedding reception was on the top of one of the hotels there. I had never been to that area of the country at that time and was confused of why they were having an outdoor reception planned. It turned out great.

Panzhihua, China may have autumn roll right into spring without a single cold spell. You do need a jacket in the morning and evenings but the afternoons are nice.

Things usually clear up come mid-January so Im not expecting a winter this year; was the same the year before last.

When it was cold really early, everyone freaked out that it would be a terrible winter. I didn't buy into that because the early weather in a season isn't a predictor how the rest will go.

Over a foot of snow yesterday and over the night.

Yup, at least a foot here in the Southern Tier

Had a couple of 6 inch storms early December before I got the snowblower out and the garage rearranged. Since I've gotten everything set, including buying 2 bags of salt, we haven't had anything more than half inch and none of it has stuck for more than 24 hours.

I lived in Tampa for 3 years. Been gone from there since 2006 and I still can't get over some of the people I saw there who should have been wearing more clothes than they were actually wearing.

Kind of cool, supposed to be a few days with a high in the mid to upper 50's in the next week.

I might need to wear a jacket occasionally.
