bfros 53 Posted September 8, 2017 it's like I'm watching J.Charles 2.0. Quick, elusive, one-cut runner....6.0 ypc as of the time I'm typing this. Whereas I think Gillislee is a sell (very) high after week 1, Hunt is a buy high.
bfros 53 Posted September 8, 2017 ...and then he catches a 78 yard TD. Yeah, ain't nobody gonna trade him now.
cousinal111 57 Posted September 8, 2017 Yep, he's the real deal as are the Chiefs.
thePRO 78 Posted September 8, 2017 Don't see the Charles comparison, but dude looks great.

rallo 132 Posted September 8, 2017 I thought I would reach on him in the 3rd... but my brother reached on him late 2nd... this guy went screaming up the draft board
polecatt 401 Posted September 8, 2017 Don't see the Charles comparison, but dude looks great. I would say Larry Johnson more so
bucknbull 4 Posted September 8, 2017 I love my early draft. I got him the morning after Ware's injury and no one knew how serious it was. I got him in the 10th round! Very happy. Then, I would have sat him on the road for Ajayi, but that game was postponed so I HAD to start him. Feeling really lucky.

They forget that there are chances off getting really cheap studs just like there are chances of losing a top draft pick. I was able to get Hunt in the 14th round. Captain Goomy Noomy Roo 47 Posted September 8, 2017 Slow down people. Great game for Hunt...no doubt. He will be game planned now.

Gridiron Mafia 1 Posted September 8, 2017 Agreed he will be planned for but this guy looked liked the total package lastnight. And its hard to gameplan for an offensive line that looks dominant. Could be a result of a bad Patriots front but the blocking looked terrific and the kid was making tacklers pay.
Hawkeye21 1,852 Posted September 8, 2017 You can only game plan for so many players. Which guy do you focus on, Hunt, Hill or Kelce?
cooters22 0 Posted September 8, 2017 Dam I wish I did my homework on this kid.
weepaws 2,457 Posted September 8, 2017 The Patriots didn't game plan for KC starting Rb? No wonder they had their butts kicked. Now that's really bad coaching.
bfros 53 Posted September 8, 2017 Bro slipped through the Dline line butter. He was in the secondary on nearly every run. Crazy elusive. That play when he broke outside and beat everyone to the edge and burned it up field was sick. He's got all the weapons. Hands too. Dude can catch. 3 down back. The Next Generation 10 Posted September 8, 2017 He looked legit not going down on first contact and extending runs. Wish I had him.

Maulers1973 117 Posted September 8, 2017 I watched a lot of tape of players this year to try to get a better idea of what their skill level was really like. I watched a bit of college game tape, but mostly preseason tape on running backs. The ones that I really liked what I saw were: Hunt, McCaffrey, Kamara and Carson. The others looked sort of average (Mixon, Cook, J Williams, Perine). In my main league I own Hunt and Carson.

GobbleDog 816 Posted September 8, 2017 Funny how people make fun of others who draft a few weeks early. Why not draft after the SuperBowl? Wouldn't that be fun.?. Adding more dumb luck to fantasy football is stupid.
Hawkeye21 1,852 Posted September 8, 2017 Why not draft after the SuperBowl? Wouldn't that be fun.?. Adding more dumb luck to fantasy football is stupid. There's dumb luck at all times of the year. There are obvious times of the year when it makes more sense to draft but when it's getting to the point where it's the busiest time of the year for some it gets hard to draft a few days before the season starts. CornKobb 48 Posted September 8, 2017 a leaner faster ray rice. just one game but reminded me a tad of Ray Rice
Frozenbeernuts 1,652 Posted September 8, 2017 You guys are high. He looked good, yes, but these comparisons to Jamaal Charles, acting like Hunt is some blazing fast running back Hunt 4.62 40 Rice 4.47 40 I think he looked good, the big bonus being his hands. Let's just not forget all the big runs that Jeremy Hill had that one year despite him being a slower back.

Let's just not forget all the big runs that Jeremy Hill had that one year despite him being a slower back. I didn't think he looked blazing fast either but that is rarely a defining trait for a quality RB in the NFL. I can live with a back being caught from behind if he is reading blocks, gaining yards after contact, and catching the ball. He showed all of those things lastnight. Hes definitely not Jamaal Charles. The only similarity is the uniform IMO.
pabstbluribbin 1 Posted September 8, 2017 This was supposed to be Ware This was never going to be Ware...he just doesn't have the talent to produce like this. I don't know that you meant your comment that way, but it is what it is.
DankNuggs 305 Posted September 8, 2017 This was never going to be Ware...he just doesn't have the talent to produce like this. I don't know that you meant your comment that way, but it is what it is. People are off on Ware. Last year was a tale of two seasons. Before and after the concussion. Before he got hurt he was trending towards 1500+ total yards. He is a good player. Moot point now as he just got Bledsoe'ed
Maulers1973 117 Posted September 8, 2017 Yeah, he's not a burner, but he is shifty and has awesome burst when he makes his cuts. He has some power to, but I'd not call him a power back. I see why Reid likes him and will use him as the feature back. Also, he did show good hands with some nice catches.
joneo 529 Posted September 8, 2017 Oh yeah, he's legit. I know it's one game but I'd bet everything based on this one showing that he'll carry the Chief's to Super Bowl for sure.
KSB2424 3,082 Posted September 8, 2017 He's more Priest Holmes type runner to me. Maybe a little more elusive than Holmes.

Reality 2,710 Posted September 8, 2017 I saw some Walter Payton and Jim Brown with a bit of Randy Moss mixed in, we draft Sunday night.. I may have to take a look at this kid early.
