FX has picked up another season of the anthology series from creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. It will debut in 2016; no word yet on a theme or subtitle. From Murder House to Hotel, AHS has pioneered a new television form as well as becoming FXs highest-rated show while also pushing every conceivable boundary of creative excellence and audacity, FX Networks CEO John Landgraf says in a statement. In Live +3 ratings, FXs measurement of choice, Hotel is averaging a 3.7 rating in adults 18-49 (up 7 percent from last years Freak Show) and 6.9 million viewers (up 1 percent vs. Freak Show). listen2me 23 1,534 Posted September 14, 2016 I'm not a big TV show guy and missed the first 3 season of this, but since went back and watched them on Netflix over time. Watched the 4th one Freak Show weekly but it fizzled out. Hotel I watched weekly and thought it was pretty bad and it fizzled out even more towards the end. When I went back and watched I liked season 1 and liked season 2 even more. Didn't care much for season 3. So I guess I wouldn't call the show that great. It is hit or miss. Been a miss as of late with the seasons but the first few episodes are usually pretty cool. Not sure how it works for an actual tv series. Was really really bad in my opinion. I mean it could go into a turn thT makes sense but really the story is awful even by itself. Guy goes out on business girl gets scared and messed with by strangers. Original. Guy sets up cameras. Guy wants to stay at house girl wants to move. They keep getting crap as they stay. Awful. I thought it was semi compelling and there are some cool directions they can go with it. I am def burnt out on the whole demonic presence in the house schtick that the last 100 scary movies have used. All the conjuring, insidious types that are identical amityville ripoffs and very few people ever get killed. But I think they are going to have some twists and turns. Even if I were to try and get into that dumb appraoch they ruin it no matter what, Just telling it like it is. Perhaps I am wrong. I did not enjoy it and thought it was really bad. I thought it was terrible and not sure if it was the story line or the seemingly every scene was sexully gory....sex in shows is fine, but to ME, there is a point where it's like, "Alright, we get that they have sex everyday all day long." I thought the first show of season 6 was good. We will see how it goes, though. This show seems to always start out strong and then fail miserably. Season 1 and 2 were awesome. Or when he is just telling the supposedly horrific events in a laid back tone? Then the black drunk story teller is just an awful actor. Ruins any decent things that are going on in the actual show. They arent trying to sell the house so not sure if they really care to leave that much. The ol find crazy in the forest and het terrorized abd cops will hardly help deal. Haha. Im sorry for being a downer here. I dont watch a ton of tv shows and r3alize there are much better shows than this one. Maybe I am being too hard though. I think it is bad. Ill keep watching for some reason though. It is sort of turning into a spoof for me and my girl. I didnt like 4 and 5 even though I thought the raw theme of both were much better than this. The style of the story is what I think some of you don't like. Personally, I like it. They had their neice taken and the woman had her ankle axed...saw people gutted like pigs. But yeah lets come back during the blood moon. lol. so focking cheesy. The urkel looking diude was like we may not be so lucky this time! hahahaha....then why the F would you be back? The last episode was the worst epiosde in the history of this show. I was actually getting ised to the renactment stuff a little. But this direction makes it the cheesiest it could ever get. I suppose some people like it. I dont get it. Takes any spook or weirdness out of it for me. Hopping from real stuff. To on tape. To what this director guy thinks is just too goofy for me and takes focus off thr actual point of AHS.
