larrymcirish 0 Posted June 22, 2006 I'm thinking of taking the position rankings from several sources and scratching off anyone with recent major injuries. I don't consider a broken bone (S. Smith) a major injury. Whadda ya think?

bdill77 0 Posted June 22, 2006 I would consider players who have a history of injuries more than someone who has had a major injury. For example, someone like Fred Taylor or Dom Davis seem to always be nicked up and miss games. Whereas someone like Javon Walker had a major injury (ACL) but should be back strong and has never been hurt before.

I just got started on this idea but first thoughts are: Pennington I just got started on this idea but first thoughts are:Pennington Sorry, I screwed up. Anyway, Pennington McAllister D. Davis Bulger J. Jones Big knee jobs like Culpepper & J. Walker would cause me to leave them off for this year to see what happens. I wouldn't consider a sports hernia (McNabb) serious. Monse_HQ 0 Posted June 22, 2006 I'd take a lot for me not to consider a player. Pennington: definately stay away from. rookie impressing and he hasn't completed a full season in a while. McAllister: I'd stay away from him with Bush back in town now. Walker: I'd still draft him but I wouldn't reach for him. Look at Steve Smith 04 to 05. Guess who was my #1 wr in '04? He is the reason I said a broken bone doesn't bother me. The thought of staying away for the oft-injured or new acl surgery only occured to me because most of the moaning I hear is injury related.
