Murray will be a decent play @KC, I think they're an overrated run defense (and I'm a Chiefs fan). The loss of Eric Berry won't help, either. He's not a great play at home versus SF and Buffalo, but he should be serviceable if you are desperate.

I'm in a 2 QB league. Have Kaep and Romo. Had Palmer, but, well, you know, I guess he needs an ACL to play or something. For Week 11, I definitely need a 2nd QB, due to Romo being on bye. Even after that bye, I feel like holding a 3rd QB is a good idea given the weak pickings on the waiver wire. So this is how I arrived at owning Ryan Mallett. Yes, that Ryan Mallett. The unproven Ryan Mallett that is only starting now because Ryan Fitzpatrick not only looks like a bum, but also plays like one too. Ryan Mallett's Week 11 opponent is at Cleveland. Currently the 3rd ranked defense against QBs, but that includes Andy Dalton's implosion in Week 10, along with a bunch of uninspiring opponents (JAX, OAK, TB, etc.), so they're likely a middle-of-the-pack defense against QBs, rather than an elite unit. So, probably a better matchup this week than it looks on first blush. Now, Ryan Mallett going forward: Cin, Ten, @Jac, @Ind, and Bal in Week 16. The only defense that remotely worries you is Indy's, and it is average at best. Ryan Mallett's primary targets: DeAndre Hopkins, Andre Johnson, and Arian Foster. You could do a lot worse than that trio. Despite Ryan Fitzpatrick's struggles, he was still a Top 20 fantasy QB with only one dismal game under double digits. One can presume that Bill O'Brien does not install Mallett as the starter if he cannot be at least a slight upgrade. TL;DR - Ryan Mallett might not be an awful fantasy QB the rest of the way.
