Sent you an email. Interested only if NFC North is available. -
How big is your roster? If it is 15-16 spots, how is Williams so cheap? What was the cost of other top tier QB's last year? Based just on value of what I see, I'd keep Williams and Connor but if you feel most QB's will be kept, I can see keeping Allen and which ever RB you like better. Kelce too pricey for me.

Dobbins injury was worse than is being given credit for. I don't know that I would be looking at him in the 4th round if you keep Swift.

Sony Michel is available on my waiver wire. I am in a 10 team PPR league (1ppr) with 1pt every 10 yds rush/rec, distance scoring bonus, and yardage landmark bonuses. I have Latavius Murray, Alex Collins, and Jordan Howard available to drop. Any ideas?

People see 6 points for passing TD's and decide QB most important position. If five QB's are taken in the first round this year, you should be able to get a top 3 RB or top 3 WR. You can still get a good QB later in draft. I would go best player available like you did last year.

Without knowing league scoring, kind of difficult to give much help. In leagues with standard IDP scoring, LBs and S are highest scoring positions. I would target those positions first before filling out other defense positions.

How many teams in your league? What's the scoring rules? Can't give you a qualified answer without more information about league.

VERY Challenging League Needs 2 Owners
bull19007 replied to LoneWolf1023's topic in Find A League, Fill A League
I've checked out your links but I don't see anything that shows the league's scoring rules. I might be interested but not without seeing how the league scoring works. Would you please post this if the league is still open. Thanks -
Cutler carried a 3.7 GPA at Vanderbilt. Simpleton I think not.

Suggestions for player inflation 2nd year keeper league
bull19007 replied to bull19007's topic in FFToday Board
Mike and Keeper Commish, Thanks for the replies. Mike you're right about the different directions. I was trying to get a point of reference for the increase. Ray Rice is a great example given I got him for $10 last year (As opposed to $52 for Matt Forte). -
Started a keeper league last year with Auction draft. One of the decisions our league has to make is determining inflation cost on keeping a player for this and upcoming years. 17 man roster, $225 owner allowance, max 3 keepers. One suggestion was a 10% increase on the original bid for player kept. I suggested naming one of your keepers as a franchise player and freezing his cost at his original bid price for 3 years then a 15% increase each year there after. Anyone else have any ideas or suggestions on how to handle keeper player cost increases from year to year? Thanks in advance for your opinions.

I have not heard of Warner throwing on the side or keeping ready "just in case". Given his medical history and the kind of person he is, I would venture that at this point he's done. That might change next year but I think his body needs the rest and recoop. To be on the safe side, I'd hold on to Warner until you must make your dynasty drops. Even if you drop him, I doubt anyone else will pick him up. Just keep tuned in case Warner pulls a Favre.

Don't mean to espouse the virtues of other sites but there is a blog article on fantasyfootball.com that addresses this issue. Long story short, based on his research, the writer put forth that combo's tended to be more consistent week to week than other options. One item should be noted, however, his research and hypothesis was based on elite fantasy player combos (Peyton Manning Edge Wayne Harrison Warner Faulk Holt etc...) No correlations were made based on TE's. As far as TE's go, Clark and Gates put up numbers last year comparable to most #2 fantasy WR's or better. I wouldn't hesitate grabbing either to make a combo ahead of of your #3 WR or depending on what's left, your #2 WR.

My Quarterback Sleepers...Scrutinize at will
bull19007 replied to RosterDoc's topic in FFToday Board
Don't know that I'd consider him a sleeper but all David Garrard does each year is average 3500 yds passing 15 td passes another 300+yards rushing and 2-3 rush td's. This puts him in the top 15-16 QB's each year and you could do a lot worse for your backup QB. Is Garrard a fantasy starting QB? No, but he's good for 3-4 solid games each year. If you're holding off on drafting one of the top 7-8 QB's, I'd suggest taking Garrard as your backup.
