Exactly, I don't know how you as a mother OR father sit there and do nothing. In fact, I NEVER would have let my daughter go WITHOUT ME at that age. What ###### parent does that? Abandons their child to Hollywood?

I have a 3 year old son. If at 12 my kid came to me and said look The dude I have been working with is molesting me. I am going to confront him. I then going to beat his ass until i break things. I would not want to kill him because i still want him to be in prison for the crime. But I would do severe damage. The idea of not doing this is beyond me. Big guy? a baseball bat to the knees when he is not expecting it works wonderful....im told.

 

Even if this happened . Even if it happened just like it is being said. Her parents are a MAJOR reason why this happened. IF it happened it happened because her parents looked the other way. They whored her out to hollywood.

Based on how that read, if it wasn't true she would have to be a brilliant liar. It would be a feat to make all of that up and make it sound as organic and honest as it does, and she would have to be sociopath for throwing this guy under the bus in an incredibly detailed manner.

Just read that her family is/was Mormon. Her parents didn't come from Hollywood. I could see choosing to minnimize it mentally and being intimidated by this big machine that was Holywood as she was hopefully going to have a successful future in it. What would happen if they sounded the alarm? That kind of thing. Too much at stake, and crap like this wasn't a society-galvanizing topic as much as it is now.

It could have been the money at stake, it could have been...it's the early 90's, a sheltered Mormon family, no public climate of immediate benefit of doubt to alleged victims, being intimidated by the power and money involved in what you would be standing up against. IMO, from the feel of her story, the only skeptical way this could be approached is that something far more minor than what she described happened. It would be the most cumbersome lie ever to mention several people you told it to at the time, unless you told them of something that, over time, you elaborated on while simultaneously embellishing. Intuitively I just feel like taking this one completely at face value though.

Parents of child actors dont want the kid making a scene and jeopardizing their career or reputation. These parents are obsessed with their kid making it big and taking care of them they would pump them out themselves if need be.
