Tom Brady

If I trade him. I would need at least two of the three.

QB, RB, WR

I may send you an offer later, but I have to rethink things now that Brett is in the air.

Not really. Don't get me wrong...I'll take him as my number 2 QB, but if he ends up not playing I only burned a 17th round pick on him last year. :pointstosky:

We had our draft in my other league and our waiver wire opens tonight ironically. I'm hoping this slips under the radar so I can add him as a 3rd QB and potential trade bait.

Slip under the radar? Are the other owners deaf ostrich-turtle hybrids?

More like cave dwelling drunks with children, but I see where you're going with this.

I'm like 6th in the pecking order so I'm not too optimistic.

I'd love to have Brady and I have what I feel you would want, but it would cripple my team at RB.

Maybe there's a possible three way in here somewhere.  :shocking:

I also want Brady, but have almost as good a QB in Rivers. Considering Rivers is 5 years younger, it's even closer. Take a look at my team and tell me what kind of WR or RB you would want with Rivers. I won't give up a Fitz or Chris Johnson type player, but maybe a mid-tier guy.

After looking at some possible offers I would make, I just don't see me pulling the trigger.

I see the tiers in our league like this.

Tier 1 CBfalcon

Tier 2 yostevo

Tier 3 everyone cept

Tier 5 goclots

there is some ranking in that 3rd tier. But playoff spots are wide open.

Mobb, your offer of Rivers and someone else is not bad, but I just don't like Rivers and could be justified with one of your mid range guys. But like I said, I just don't like him. Thanks for the input guys. Feel free to make me offers, but I doubt I pull the trigger at this time.

I will give you one of each position for Brady.

Any QB I have

Any RB not LT/Sproles.....lets face it, that is about all I have at this point.

Any WR on my team.

3 for 1. Some of my WRs are not that bad. You can't lose. Have you REALLY looked at my team. It's not nearly as bad as some might think.

That said, I really wanted to make an offer for Brady....and still may talk myself into it.

But with McNabb, Cassell, and Ryan, I am ok for now and potentially set (Ryan I hope) for the next 6 years.. I definitely could make you a solid offer that would improve my starting lineup, but I'd be one potential injury away from having to scramble a bit.

Just unsure if I want to mess with my formula. But I'll be thinking about it.

Never thought he would actually accept it. :dunno:

Especially after the slop he proposed. Hope it works out. Interested to see what you guys think.

I like Brady as much as anybody (kept him in The Moz's 1 player keeper league at a cost of a 1st round pick), but that's an ass raping, IMO.

I'm on the opposite end. I like the Neckbeards move here. The starting lineup upgrade from...Edwards (I guess) to Brady far offsets the downgrade from Westy to a Kevin Smith IMO.

That said, Neckbeards are VERY thin at RB now, and 1836's are VERY thin at QB. There are more trades to be made there.

:dunno: That's a lot of good young talent to be giving up for a QB that we don't even know whether he'll make it through a season. These injuries have a tendency to swell and scar tissue complicates things fast. Pre injury Brady and I stil think this trade is a bit lopsided. Congrats to Wood.

Both teams are now 1 injury away from just forfeiting their remaining games.

It was no doubt a risk, but it's Westbrook likely at the end of his prime plus two rookies who are promising but haven't proven anything yet for possibly the highest scoring player in our league this year. After the failed DA experiment last year, I was absolutely killed by the QB position.

That being said, I am in the market for a RB. Marshall, Desean, A. Bryant, S. Holmes or any other WR is on the block for a RB if anyone wants to make some offers.

I wish injury upon nobody. Nothing can suck the fun out of a season faster (cept maybe Yostevo).

That's why I chickened out and didn't make a Brady offer. I'd only be an injury or 2 away from not having a starter at every spot that could put up 25 points in a game...and that would just be sucky.

I would throw Meachum into the mix as a young player with a ton of potential too. He's just waiting to explode IMO. He could be the #1 in N.O. no later than 2011.

Also...there's no one close to RB depth in the league so I'm listening??

Give me a little credit man! Enjoy FWP while he's still starting. Next year I'll have 5 starting RB's.

You have a nice roster of RBs fo sho. Although, you better start looking for a different replacement for FWP because I don't think Mendlesuck is going to amount to much. No explosion in the NFL thus far. None.

In my main money league I am in here locally, I grabbed Brady in the 4th Saturday. Didn't really want too, but how could I pass that up?? I am a huge wait on your QB kind of guy, but no way I could pass him up there. I have won this league(redraft) the past 3 years in a row. 4 titles in the past 7 seasons. Looking to 4peat. What does all this mean??? Glad you asked.

I rock :overhead:
